The facilities are fine but nothing special. However we will never stay here again due to the fact that they think it is appropriate to decorate the bathroom with a drawing of Andrew Jackson. Really? Ever heard of the Trail of Tears? Surely they could have found a nice picture of a tree or something. Anything but a representation of a virulent racist in a majority black city. Do better.

Terrible hotel. Room dirty, smelled awful. Very outdated room- seemed to be missing furniture. Carpet around air conditioners soaking wet. Would not recommend nor will not stay here again.Rooms: Awful- looked bad, smelled bad, very outdated

The facilities were okay. The toilet did not flush well and if you are bringing a pet, the lighting outside is not good. There were also no utensils in the kitchen. The service was good and the staff were friendly.

I stayed here for JSU homecoming and will not stay here again. The bathroom had hair in the shower, the linen was very dingy, and my bed was not completely made. We did not receive, did not know about a decal to put in the car window so it would not be towed until the 2nd night, when the police asked us about one. What would have happened if the car was towed the first night? This is the first hotel I have stayed in that has no microwave in the room. I will not stay here again.

The room was dirty when we checked in. Literally beer cans and a Taco Bell cup behind the sofa in the room. We requested several times for the room to be cleaned. We keep receiving the run around , saying that no one could come, we had to ask for the room the be cleaned before 8 am etc. I literally had to call the cooperate customer service line for them to get my room cleaned. Then when they did clean the room, they half cleaned the room again…. The housekeep literally made one bed and left the other undone. The cups we have been asking for days for them to clean up, still remained there. I would never stay at this location, bad service all the way around

Maintenance guy came in my room & another room, took belongings out of the rooms. Staff acted like it wasn’t anything they can do about it. Had to solve things out myself! Never come here unless you want you room tampered with, everything else was good.

I stayed here during a business trip in July 2023. Overall the stay was fine. I came back to the hotel from work the first day and discovered the fridge was leaking all over the floor. After reporting it to the front desk, I was immediately moved to another room. Better experience after that. The hotel is located in a convenient location in the downtown Jackson area, although not much going on. In terms of safety, I probably wouldn't recommend walking anywhere from this location, especially at night. A couple pros: you can see the Mississippi State Capitol building off in the distance and if you're in town for an event at the Mississippi Coliseum, the hotel is pretty close!

This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I will never return again. Hotel smelled like smoke even though I requested a non smoking room. Room was dirty, there was someone’s old sleep mask on the floor in the bedroom. Which gives anyone a clue that the cleaning service there is poor. The linen on the bed was wrinkled and looked like it was just thrown on. The whole room smelled like mold and didn’t seem clean at all. This by far should be a hotel that’s shut down. No one should ever stay here. I was afraid to sleep there not knowing what was crawling around in that room. Very poorly kept hotel.

The bed was the only good thing in the room. The lamps were rusted and stained, there was no hairdryer, and there was hair on the counter in the bathroom. The shower head leaked and sprayed water everywhere. By far the worst of the Hamptons we have stayed at. Will not visit this one again.

Look very nice but is poorly managed and maintained. Cons:The AC units in our suite were making irregular noises and one was leaking on the carpet. The all of the tile in our room was sticky and we had to clean our feet and shoes after. The coffee at breakfast was very watered down. Pros: The beds were comfy and the waffles were delicious.

The personnel was great. The cleanliness of the room was not that great. The bathroom smelled of urine and my shoes stuck to the floor. There were clearly several areas in the bathroom that were not wiped down as they had hair and makeup markings. The carpet was stained and I wondered if it was comparable to the bathroom floor. Would pick a different hotel in the area if there is a need in the future.

Not what I would expect from Hampton.No microwave in room. No cable TV connection, and poorly maintained gym and equipment. Rusted metal everywhere. Please choose another higher quality hotel.Rooms: Tight space and out-dated.Safety: No break-ins and safe overall
