They know how to get things done here and they are following after things that are supposed to be good and right which is a good thing.

Someone I know kept nagging me to come back here. I've got to share my experience of what happened to me at this "church"
Me & my family went here from the late 80s until the mid 2010s. My family was discriminated against here. My father because he was raised Catholic & from a "Northern State". My mother because her church peers knew about some stuff she'd previously done. From what I understand they judged her relentlessly because of that stuff. When I was a kid I was bullied here by my Sunday school teachers partly because of who my parents were. Also because of where my dad grew up, my Sunday school teachers would tell me something along the lines of "you need to act more southern". My sister from what I understand was bullied by her Sunday school teachers but only a little bit. Church is where you're supposed to feel welcomed by everyone, not to be judged & shamed by everyone of your church peers. I hope to never accidentally drive by this place ever again

I called this Church when my Dad, Brother, and I witnessed a Man (human being) literally crawling on all fours, due to a missing limb, and no wheelchair.
This absolutely broke my heart! So, I literally call The First Baptist Church, and asked " Do you all have any wheelchairs?" she told me "yes, in the hallway" so, I preceeded to tell her what I saw,and she put me through to a help- line

A homophobic, old school establishment who calls a young child into the office to shame them for being gay. I am no longer Christian because of this church. Thanks G-d for Judaism! Lol. Perhaps you should re-evaluate your evangelism and what the love of "Christ" means?

they are rude and Dottie the receptionist is too important to assist God's ppl with even the slightest courtesy. They should move to Madison if they no longer wish to serve the inner city citizens.
