family-owned, local bookstore with good prices. atmosphere is always calm and pleasant. they have a great selection of classics (tolstoy, hemingway, dostoevsky, shakespeare, etc) that will satisfy any reader. one of my favorite businesses in jackson

I remember coming here as a kid to get Choose-Your-Own-Adventure books for cheap. Now, many years later, I've returned with my wife to fill our bookshelves. The staff is kind and helpful. The coffee is good, too!
