This is the second time I've gotten Senegalese twist from them and they slipped out very quickly. On January first of this year the night I got home my first twist slipped out. The next morning another 4 slipped out. I called them the next day and told them my twists were slipping and I just got them done yesterday. She asked did I have short hair as that's the reason when I've had this style by another African braid shop with shorter hair and it didn't slip for month. I'm not going back for them to redo it because it's just gone slip again. A waste of $262 NEVER GOING AGAIN THEY RUINED MY BIRTHDAY WEEK

Very unprofessional. I asked for knotless braids and I did not get knotless braids, more like box braids. When I looked at my middle part it was not straight it was very slanted and I wanted her to fix it. Do you when I brought it to her attention she gave me an attitude and said that I was being very difficult when I wanted something that I was paying for to be right. I called the owner of the store and she told me to text her the pictures but she never got back to you they have a three day policy where you can come back and get your hair fixed but I expressed to them that I could not come back in three days because I would have to take off work and they did not work with me on their mistake. I also had to come back after she was finished because she missed a part of my hair that was not braided.

The ladies there are nice and professional but this one particular lady I wouldn't recommend. I think her name is Zumba or Sumba. She complained mostly about my hair being short. I know my hair is short because I had it cut . If she didn't want to braid my hair she should've just said that. i got my braids done July 9, 2021 and Sunday July 11, 2021 it looked like I had my braids for 2 weeks. She just did anything in the back of my head. I was so mad. I went back to shop to see about someone fixing them. a lady started but she said I would have to come back to the person that did them. I don't think I will return.

worst salon ever! they cannot grow hair and they will take your hair out! Every last stylist is messy and will listen to every call and read your messages while you are in the chair. It's just a big bum mess! don't go here!

Braids slipping out after one week. When I went back o show them that 10 came out, they said my hair was too fine and too short. However, they forgot to tell me that when they charged me $240 for the box braids after sitting in the chair for 4 hours.

This place is horrible. I got senegalese twist a week ago and paid $240 for it. My hair looks like a toddler did it. I returned to the salon to see if I could get a refund or for them to fix the ones that were really messed up. First she asked have I been swimming which that really didn't matter because twist/braids are "protective styles" right? Then she went on to say that she would only fix the part that she did not the rest of it. She only fixed like 6 twist and gave me the mirror. I will never go back here. I'll stick to BB's. Smh Wish I could give it 0 rating.

I am so disappointed! I should have followed my first decision which was to wait on the ladies at BB's African Hair Braiding to open. I was initially waiting there along with the back to school crowd but, I became impatient with their tardiness. This is definitely a lesson in PATIENCE for me! I called Vero while in the parking lot at BBs and they stated they could take me and "There was no wait." I get there and of course, I had to wait 30-45 minutes before they serviced me. Once seated, I told them I wanted Senegalese twist. It was about 20 minutes before Aya began braiding my hair. She went to get hair and also had to get her children breakfast before she could begin on me; another inconvenience for their customers along with the fact that the children were very active and she sang above my head the entire time. It is the norm, yet many of these shops need service etiquette. 5 hours later my hair was complete, but as most know I was ready to leave and had tension pain from the gripping. I didn't pay attention to anything but the edges of my hair and the parting. It seemed very neat. I paid the $240.00 and said my Goodbyes. After it loosened a few days later, I began paying close attention to each braid and the strands. The hair was awfully hard and my natural hair's ends were not tucked into the twist properly. I knew it was a personal error because I was sure to wear a bonnet over them nightly. About two weeks later, I noticed that the braids were slipping and that it looked as if I had the braids installed over two months ago. I just hit the one month mark and the braid's starter loops are hanging almost an inch from my scalp. And I'm positive my hair hasn't grown that fast! I didn't attempt to resolve this with them. I felt that they would intentionally try not to understand. African hair braiding shops typically expect for you to pay them to fix your hair even when they are at fault and I refuse to spend another penny!
