“I went into this store about 1.5 weeks ago. It was probably the cleanest and neatest Dollar Tree store that I’ve ever patronized. Employees acknowledged and greeted me. The shelves were stocked and items were faced.
OT: I have noticed that Dollar Tree carries some of the same items that 5 Below sells, essentially cosmetics and HBA’s.”

“I love T.J. Maxx but waiting to check out in a super long line is terrible. They had more than enough staff at the registers to help move the line along but they are just so slow. Overall it is still a good store and very clean.”
“Well, this one seems to be the best around in horn lake and Southaven. They did have a lot in the aisles but you could tell they were actively stocking. Most dollar generals just pile boxes in the aisles for weeks at a time.”
“This DG is always clean and aisles aren't blocked with carts full of stuff needing to be stocked. Very well kept store. Also, employees are always nice and friendly. Lines get long at times but it's probably because it's the nicest DG in the area.”
“If you've never tried, or tried once and didn't find great merch, at great prices, go again!
My favorite thing is the fur baby section for treats and food discounts for my doggie!
But the finds of gourmet foods in the grocery section is always a hit!”

“Dollar general over here on Winchester they just remodeled it and put new freezers in it and the store looks way better than it did and the merchandising is better too that I always love the girls that work at their extremely nice”
“Picked up few items on 12/30/22 @dollargeneral @ 302/tchulahoma in Southaven Ms. I was impressed. The store was neat/clean/quiet. The shelves were stocked & displayed perfectly. As soon as 3 people were in line the man who I assume was the Mgr opened a register & began ringing up customers. I believe the sign in the window said Joseph Douglas-Manager. I could be wrong but I noticed it twice going in/coming out. Eitherway well done to the Mgr & staff :)”

“Hardware Clearance Section -ON STEROIDS!& Everything will be HALF-OFF the lowest ticket price at the register!If you always visit the clearance section/end cap of your favorite hardware store, then this place is your CLEARANCE HARDWARE MECCA! I found it! So, this is where all the hardware clearance stuff must go. I see all the familiar brands from the hardware stores (Home Depot, Lowes, Ace, etc.). Tools, paint, plumbing, electrical, PPE, garden supplies, A/C filters, etc. The Bad News: - They may not have exactly what you are looking for (only discontinued items).- All sales are final! No returns.- Even though it's organized, it may take some time to find your specific item.- On 3 different visits, there is always glass scattered in the parking lot. Not a good sign. Are cars frequently being broken in to? Or have they still not cleaned the lot? So far, I've made over 3 visits and no complaints. My purchases work just fine -from tools to lawn sprinklers. I found a great deal on PPE apparel (high quality cooling vests for $10 and long sleeve cooling shirts for just $5!) Some days have random specials -like 65% off all plumbing or electrical! Take my advice, visit this place first, it may save you some money!”
“Overall, my trip here was pretty good. Since the Dollar Tree store in my town doesn't have one, I was excited to see that this location has a freezer section in the back with a good variety of both frozen foods (eggrolls, chimichangas, Jamaican beef patties, waffles, etc.) & different types of drinks in the fridge section (fruit juice, milk, sodas, etc.) If I were to suggest a drink btw, I'd get the Front Porch Old Fashioned Lemonade (it's some of the best lemonade I've ever had for a $1 tbh & I plan on getting some more whenever I have the chance to come back). I was also surprised to see that they have some good but somewhat rare finds in the food products too like Hot Chocolate oatmeal, Gingerbread oatmeal, Mrs. Fields cookies, etc. Aside from the product variety, the staff was pretty friendly & checkout was fairly quick & easy. Oh & if anyone wanted to know, they do take EBT as a payment option (just wanted to plug that in since I know that a lot of shoppers use EBT & I figured it would be helpful information). I definitely recommend shopping here & I plan to come back whenever I'm back in Southaven.”

“Visited on 11/24/22 from Indiana. This store is much bigger, but the shelves needed to be stocked. Plenty of merchandise was still in the boxes. The prices are much better here. I found a lot items that were about $2 less than Indiana prices. I was pleased at that part.”
“I only recently started using this particular DG. I was pleasantly surprised. Whereas the store is a bit in disarray due to stocking issues that all retailers seem to be having, it was still tidy. The 2 ladies that I interacted with were very helpful and polite.”

“UPDATE November 30... Dark parking lot, bad security lights on south side of building parking light post completely out. this store has gotten very trashy, stuff all over the floors, employees are rude. Cash register number 2 supposedly broken.”

I recently moved my company down the street to a new office, and oh my goodness—the lady working there has been nothing but kind and welcoming. “This is a very organized and cool mow price bargained store. It's well stocked the merchandise is displayed neatly. The lighting isn't too bright, the prices are reasonable. Anyway, I went to check out and Lex (the girl at the register) and another young guy (I forgot to ask for his name) asked me if there was a guy with me. I said no and they proceeded to tell me that this older man had been following me around the store and watching me. I’m usually good about picking up on this kind of stuff so I was shocked. I asked the worker to walk me out to my car and he said absolutely and they all reassured me they had my back. I really from the bottom of my heart appreciate the kindness they showed me tonight. It’s rare to find others looking out for one another so thank y’all so much.”
