“Our family has been blessed with many types of family members. We have over the years, required the services of several veterinarians within the Hattiesburg area. Regrettably, we have been continually disappointed. Most of our extended family has been of the feline (purr)suasion.After many years of association with Town and Country Vets I believe I can safely say, I have never been as pleased with the care that is provided to my felines. They are extremely attuned to the cat psyche and are very willing to take extra steps to connect with these patients. I have not found this to be true ANYWHERE else. Felines are not canines. They need vets to understand their specific needs. Though TOWN AND COUNTRY ANIMAL HOSPITAL care for many types of animals, they definitely have a knack for the cats!!!”

“Caring and extremely loving. They made an appointment for me within an hour of calling. My boys were extremely sick and it was their first visit to the clinic. Very thorough with taking care of their needs while there as well as addressing aftercare for them. Addressed all my questions and concerns. The techs were amazing even the ones who weren't directly caring for them.”

“We took a puppy that was dropped off in our yard to Advanced Pet Care, not knowing anything about this pup. He had a swollen lymph node behind his ear. They gave him his puppy shots and found 2 kinds of worms in his fecal exam. And put him on antibiotics and dewormer, which we are giving him. I am soooooo impressed that someone called me the next day from Advanced Pet Care, just to ask how he is doing!!! I have never had a veterinarian clinic call me just to ask how my pet is doing!!!”

“My dog was having problems with his back right leg. I called and they got me in the same day. 2 days later he got worse. Called that morning and got him in right away. Their staff is amazing. We are new to the area and were not sure which vet to use. I looked at reviews, this one had the best ones. Glad I chose this vet, both my pups will be going there.”

“Was a customer at a nearby veterinarian for many years. Had my pup boarded over a 4 day weekend, and my pup had just been bathed when I picked her up. Asked why and they informed me that she has congestive heart failure and they bathed her due to her having a bad bowel mvmt due to ker organs shutting down. ? I brought my lil girl to Mrs Brenda, and she informed me that she had a severe heart murmer and with the right medications she would have several more years. That's been over a year ago and my lil guard dog is still sleeping on our heads at night. Dr Brenda and her group are amazing, I wish I would have made the move many years ago!”

“Dr. Collins saw our Pittie and it was a great experience. They were busy when we arrived, but were seen promptly (which was a small concern since they don’t take appointments). Dr. Collins was patient, listened to all of our concerns, gave us all our options (while understanding that money does have to be factor- so no going to the counter waiting for the price of the many medications we had to get), she was so sweet to our baby and I will definitely be returning for future visits for all of my dogs. The ladies up front were also very nice and informative!”

“My older dog, Paige, was coughing and sneezing. I was able to get her in and looked at fairly quick. The veterinarian was thorough and took time to explain everything to me. Medication and a cortisone shot were given. Paige is much better now.”

“Wonderful experience during a very rough and worrisome night! My pup was sick and of course got MUCH worse after midnight when no vet was open - I truly didn’t know if she would make it by morning- I could tell she was not only sick but in pain, very lethargic, etc. I wish I would have remembered all names but to Dr Jennifer and the most precious lady at the desk on 7-12 at 2am, thank u- from the bottom of my heart. You were So sweet and kind not only to me but my fur baby! It means so much! She is doing much better and I hope to get her back later today!”

“Our little Oscar is probably 9-10 years old. He has several health issues going on. Some he had prior to us rehoming him.It is Wonderful to have a vet that listens and addresses each concern you have. And does that with such compassion. I have no doubt he received the best of care and he is already showing signs of improvement after 24 hours.All the ladies are so helpful and kind that assist in our pets care too.Thank You Dr Karley Pitts and techs and staff for taking such good care of my little man.”

“I adopted a small chihuahua from Love at First Sight. The staff is simply amazing. The manager, Lorraine, is a wealth of information and willing to assist in every way possible. She truly made the entire process very easy and made certain I was comfortable but also the puppy was going to be well cared for. Like humans, dogs handle stress very differently. Upon bringing my puppy home I had some medical concerns. I called Animal Medical Center (after normal business hours- midnight to be exact and again at 5:00am) and spoke with Allison. She addressed my concerns with professionalism, care, and compassion. She eased my fears and assisted in making sure my puppy's health and welfare her #1 priority. I could go on with so many examples of how wonderful and amazing the staff at Love at First Sight has been. I hope everyone would truly take this review to heart when in the market for a new furbaby. Give them a try I promise you will not be disappointed.”

“Our dog was having some serious mobility issues where we needed to bring him to an emergency vet near our home, where he received X-rays and an uncertain diagnosis from the vet there. To find out what was wrong we needed to have a CT scan done, which around our home there is only two places to have that done and neither of them could get to us anytime soon so we began looking for places further away and I am so glad that we found Animal Medical Center in Hattiesburg. From the start, the person who answered the phone was so helpful and comforting. We were able to get an appointment to get the CT done the next day. They reached out and got all of his info from our vet and were thoroughly prepared and prompt when we got there the next day. We drove 2 hours to come out to Animal Medical Center. Our vet was Dr John Mayfield, and we CANNOT say enough good about him. He really took his time and listened to every concern we had. He made sure that no stone was left unturned when looking into what was going on with our fur baby. We had to leave him overnight because of the testing, which is very tough because we have rarely slept a night without him. Dr Mayfield made sure to keep us updated often and let us know when any results came in. We knew his shift was done at 5:00p that day, but we got a call from AMC at 5:30p and it was Dr Mayfield. He waited for the results of the CT so he could call us himself, and that meant the world to us. He let us know that Ollie was doing well after waking from anesthesia and assured us that they would take good care of him overnight. The next day we went to pick him up and Dr Mayfield really took his time explaining everything that was found and what treatment options we had going forward. We never once felt rushed or felt that all they wanted was the money. Yes, it is pricey for major veterinary services, but we would have paid much more for the quality of service that was provided and the peace of mind that we got from knowing all of our concerns were addressed. We can't thank Dr Mayfield and the other staff at AMC enough.”

“I can’t say enough good things about this group of vets and the ladies at the front desk. They get to know your fur babies and remember their health needs. They explain everything in detail and will happily answer all your questions. If you have an emergency they make themselves available for your fur babies needs. If you are also in need of a large animal vet Dr Hatten and Dr Rogers are your men. Dr Hatten makes farm calls and does an excellent job. Thanks guys for always taking great care of my all my fur babies and my cattle!”
