Yall gotta stop forcing y'all workings to ask people to sign up for credit cards. It feels like I have to deal with a car salesman for the rare times I do go in there. It quite annoying and uncomfortable not only for the guest but also the workers as well. Having to meet a quota for credit card sign ups, I know for a fact is stressful for the employee that is ten time out of ten not getting paid enough but also have to deal with people trying to put them down nicely while being asked for something 99% of people don’t want. And like most companies yall go and chastise the employee for not reaching said quotas. I personally say have it to where the customer signs up for a credit card if they want to online. Also, with the financial climate of this city and the country in general people aren’t getting paid enough for signing up for a credit card out of pure peer pressure and trying to be nice is not good business. My advice stop stressing your workers and trying to make them sign people up and stop making your guest have to turn them down. Some people you can literally see the anxiety in their face when they have to ask people to sign up, and it just shows yall not really advocating for your employees that’s helping run the business the most and interacting with the customers. So officially, I will only be shopping with ulta online only just to avoid being asked and saving them and myself from having to decline them asking me when I know it gets really tiresome and stressful for them on a daily basis.I give the workers a five star but the requirement of them having to ask when I know they already do so much, especially on a busy Saturday where people treat workers and stores like complete poop a one star.

They’re always great about letting me return things that don’t work out for me. Thank goodness! Especially with new products I want to try! Stock is usually very low, which I don’t believe is their fault but I wish they had more stuff.Customer service wise, it’s a 50/50 situation. It can be amazing and they help so much but everyone has their bad days.I don’t appreciate being recommended things I didn’t ask for. i didn’t appreciate being insulted . I was looking for a makeup remover balm and asked a question about what is retinol. The manager recommended an eye cream (that didn’t have retinol and wasn’t a makeup remover) instead while mentioning “you need to use this! It’s amazing for under eyes. You have great skin, but this’ll help with some of the discoloration you have.”????Didn’t realize my “eye problem” was that bad. Didn’t realize I even had a eye problem at all??? Also I didn’t ask about eye products?? All I asked was “ What is retinol?”It came off rude.She then kept handing me products to build a bag and made comments when she saw me check out that I didn’t buy all these things. It was easily $200 or more that she handed me and I didn’t have many products in my hands. Also didn’t end up finding the makeup remover balm I initially came in for. Or even a good dupe for it!It made me feel insecure, especially because that’s not what I asked for. Not the best selling tactic, in my opinion. Tangela Robinson, do better. taking advantage of folks like this is not what Ulta represents. She’s a very bubbly woman but that encounter really was not helpful.I’ve avoided being helped ever since. Go in for what I want and get out! * I updated this because I finally got that woman’s name.

My favorite Ulta! Tamara, Angel, and Biz are awesome. Very nice. Super helpful. They take very good care of me. Always help me with what I need. Give me great advice on products. They are the best!?

the BEST experience ever. i walked in ulta for face products and hair products. but Mrs.Courtney and Ms. Jordan said nawl baby we have someone in here that does really good hair ! and they weren’t lying. Mrs Tiffany did her thing with my NATURAL! She’s now my hair caregiver!! NATURAL BABIES ! she’s the GOAT! you hear me! here’s some before and after photos! don’t SLEEP ON ULTA BABY! and then EVERYONE in there is so sweet and funny.
