Found this gem randomly while traveling to Nola. They have a very good selection of well maintained cigars and accessories. Prices are on point, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Should definitely check them out if you haven't already.

I first became aware of this gem a year ago and have never had a bad trip to there. Yes, you go next door to get someone for the shop but it's not a hassle, its literally like 25 feet from the door to the next door.I drove there in my work truck with a friend after we returned from a fishing trip, all sweaty and dirty and no one batted an eye at us and have always been polite to me. I don't know why the male Karen who is pretending to be a biker is offended at them, but it's not because of their pleasant demeanors. The cigars are in humidors and the pipe tobaccos are kept sealed in bags inside airtight jars. Nothing I have ever purchased there was ever damaged or dried. When asked if they would look for a particular flavor with no idea who made it, they cheerfully agreed to try to find it for me.You have to go to a really big shop to find more selection and those are expensive and treat you like just a number. Just ask them to carry what you like, and they will.I smoke pipe tobaccos and they have a fine collection that's on par with the shops in variety, quality, cost and quantity from Tennessee and Kentucky excluding taxes.I give them 4 1/2 stars. you have to go way above and beyond to get 5 out of me and I have only ever given that out twice in my life.

As others have said, prices are too high. A Quoram Shade for $8? Really?

Very poor selection, no climate controlled humidor—cigars and just laid out in cabinets—and prices are a third higher than what you would pay elsewhere (at a shop with a humidor). And also—the Google hours are incorrect. Google says they close at 10 pm, the sign on the door says 6 pm, but when I arrived at 5:54 pm, it was already locked. A guy from the liquor store next door was kind enough to come open it up and sell me the one stick I thought might be worth buying (which is the only reason I’m giving a 2-star instead of one).

Same as Mr Tilghman said months ago. Had to go next door. Young man seemed inconvenienced. Returned to the cigar shop and he asked what I usually smoked and that the cigars here were expensive . I thought to myself, what kind of a statement is that??! Then I realized ,I had made a mad dash to Hattiesburg on my motorcycle ( the reason I didn’t have a cigar on me) so I was wearing my work around the house cloths. ( a few rips and faded) I guess I didn’t match the usual clientele. I told him the last thing I smoked was a Caldwell Eastern Standard, which put a surprised look on his face. I found a small selection of not expensive cigars, but overpriced cigars. I purchased a Leaf by Oscar . Asked for matches , none available. But he did offer a lighter on the counter I could use to light up before I left. I thanked him and went on my way. I won’t be back.

Great selection! Prices was the best around! Ms Diann knew each cigar and its flavor which helped me find a few new brands I enjoy! I’ve found my shop and will recommend it to everyone!

A real disappointment for me. When we arrived, door was locked and no one inside, had a sign that said to go to the next door for assistance. Next door was a liquor store of course. Young man came out and unlocked the store for us, seemed like an inconvenience for him. VERY small selection that is way over priced. The sticks I chose seemed a bit dry when smoking them that night, don’t think they have any real humidification in their cabinets. Won’t be going back... They did seem to have more accessories and/or gifts for cigar aficionados just lacking on selection which is most important in a cigar shop.

Cigars were dried out. Stored in a glass cabinet without any real humidification. Employee had to unlock the store they were stored in and had no idea what I was asking for. Poor selection for a cigar store and at least 30% more expensive than other cigar stores for a lesser product. I would not recommend purchasing here.

I drove 40 miles to buy a few quality smokes. The brands were good but no humidifier so the smokes I bought were dried out and basically fell apart while smoking even though I rolled them in my mouth before smoking.

Going off the last review I took a drive off post to see what I can indulge on with my favorite drink of choice. The hospitality was what I had expected from a classy cigar shop. Good number of choices without all the cheap "gas station cigars" most place do just to fill the shelf. Fair prices and the condition of the humidors were kept up keeping the sticks in ready to smoke condition.

The Leaf carries a wide variety of top name cigars. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable about the different brands. They also carry accessories for wine, champagne, gift bags, lighters, cutters, humidors. Come by and visit soon
