Was just rejected to buy alochol with my very real ID. Iï¸ understand that not fully knowing my old address can seem suspicious, but they should also have a scanner that verifies the authenticity of drivers licenses. The cashier was very rude and handled the situation very immaturely. He asked if Iï¸ had an in-state ID, to which Iï¸ said “No, I'm from Florida and visiting for Thanksgiving.†He then said he said could call the police to come and get my ID since that was protocol. Iï¸ asked him to go ahead but Iï¸ guess that was too much effort because he told me no and that he would not be selling to me. But it's all good, Iï¸ went across the street, got my case of beer, and shared a good laugh with the lady over the ridiculous experience Iï¸ just had.
