Our experience was truly memorable from start to finish. Everyone was incredibly helpful from the initial call to our first visit and pickup day. The facilities were clean and everyone was very professional. Our new girl has already stolen our hearts, and we’re excited to watch her grow with our family.

Southern Pines Animal Shelter’s mission is to nurture the bond between people and pets through community, compassion, and collaboration, and a vision to forge a path toward sustainable, responsible, and community-driven lifesaving. Founded in 1952, the organization operates a no-kill Shelter in Hattiesburg, MS that cares for more than 4,000 pets in need each year and works to find them loving outcomes through reunification, adoption, and a thriving EMBARK Transport Program. The organization also operates the Second Chance Thrift Shop with locations in Hattiesburg and Oak Grove where all proceeds help pets in need, and a Healthy Pet Clinic whose mission is to make vital veterinary services affordable and accessible to community pets.
