Friendly staff and a wide selection of beers for all tastes. Some beers are a little on the pricey side , but the staff do a great job of recommending their favorites as well as the ones that you can skip. I discover a new favorite every time I go.

Man oh man. It's so rad to see bottle shops in Mississippi! I made a special trip just to stop here and a couple of other places. The retail space is pretty small. Mostly local and regional beers with some bigger names mixed in as well. You can buy 4/6 packs or singles. I bought about six beers to bring home and drink. The only real bummer about this place? Some of their beer is pretty old. Most IPA's are good for 3 months before you have hop fade, unless it's a larger brewery. They had 4-5 month old cans still selling for full retail. That's a HUGE bummer for me. Will I go back? More than likely! Will I make a special trip? Probably not. I seriously hope they stick around though! It definitely feels like a regulars kinda spot.

I'm not a huge craft beer person so I only have a select few I get but I love to come here for gifts for people. They always explain everything and are patient. They even let you try it also. A lot of my friends who are craft beer drinkers love this place.

It's wonderful to see vibrant, fun new businesses in my hometown. HCB seems like a great place to kick back and enjoy a killer IPA. The DH and I picked a mixed six pack and I can't wait to try my lambics. Admire the beard contest photos on the way out.
