Just purchased a new battery from Autozone in Hattiesburg Ms. The technician installed the battery and didn’t tighten the negative post, car wouldn’t accelerate until the post was tightened. After leaving the check engine and trac off lights came on. I went back to auto zone and they ran a test and said it was a throttle body problem and would not do anything about it. The car was fine until the new battery and now I have two lights on. Very unhelpful.

Came in for a battery replacement on my girlfriend’s vehicle during the cold snap due to cranking issues, the salesperson named Mathew had some trouble figuring out how to swap it out. I tried to explain that he was putting the terminal on wrong and he tried to argue with me. He had a bad attitude during the situation so it wasn’t a pleasant autozone experience and judging by these other reviews it’s nothing new at this location. Won’t be coming back.

I stopped in store on Hwy 98 West Hattiesburg. My check engine light was on. Mgr Sean ran a diagnostic on my vehicle and provided me with the results. Extremely helpful and friendly! Thanks, Sean!
