Was amazing until I tried a tester of body mist and the top fell off. As I proceed to pick it up and put it back on a woman who worked there was behind me asked “everything alright” I said yes ma’am. She then came picked it up with her two top fingers trying not to touch the same bottle I just held and rudely stated “ I’ll go get another” and I said all that happen was the top fell off. (Pertaining to the nozzle part) as checking out with almost a hundred dollars worth of things her coworker Cailey (who was amazing since the minute I walked in) called her Shanna. Shanna…because I’m a mess from a long day at work making more money in one shift than you all week…do Not for once think I’m disgusting. A person who treats others the way you do is what is disgusting. I hope you have a pleasant week because you treat others the way you want to be treated. It comes back around my love.

Merchandise is excellent covering every budget that anyone has.I give this location a 3-star rating because finding an employee on the floor to help is impossible!!I had to wait 10 minutes for a cashier to come assist me on the floor and that left only one cashier to check out anyone who came.Had it been a busy time, a cashier would not have been able to help me and I would have left with nothing I came for because I wouldn't have found an employee to help me.This store, at Crossroads Shopping Center in Gulfport, MS has always been understaffed.I continue to go to it because I know what I'm going for but if you need any help with make-up testing or matching your skin you may need to try somewhere else if you don't have time to wait for assistance.

The store sales associate was super helpful and had good energy and knowledge as she assisted me in finding what I needed. Will make this my FIRST stop for skin and cosmetic needs!

The staff at this location were incredibly rude. They would not double check a product, instead looking on her phone versus her device and the cashier was incredibly rude and snobby when I asked her to see if I had points. I will not be back to this location.

Ulta is my wife's go-to store for beauty products. She consistently finds what she's looking for, and the friendly and helpful sales staff enhance the shopping experience. Across various Ulta locations, I've noticed a consistent layout, but they all share the issue of being too hot while shopping. I've been told it's controlled centrally, but I believe each store should manage its own temperature. Perhaps with more control, it would be more enjoyable to shop with my wife for an extended period.

During my recent visits to Ulta, I encountered differing levels of assistance from the staff. Initially, when seeking guidance on facial care products, I found the cashiers to be less knowledgeable and somewhat hesitant to offer help. While one employee suggested seeking assistance from the floor staff, the subsequent interaction lacked the desired support. On a more positive note, my recent visit involved a product return and subsequent purchase based on recommendations.While the initial attendant appeared hesitant, the intervention of the manager was marked by a helpful and accommodating demeanor, providing a more satisfactory customer experience. In light of these interactions, I suggest that investing in product knowledge training for the staff would greatly benefit the store's overall customer service. It is crucial that employees possess a comprehensive understanding of the merchandise they sell, ensuring a more seamless customer experience. Additionally, fostering a more positive perception of returns among the staff, in alignment with the existing store policy, could enhance customer satisfaction and promote a more welcoming shopping environment.

I applied to work here as a Task Associate. The first interview went great and after talking with her she felt I was better suited for a lead cashier since I have customer service, management, and cash handling experience. I had an interview with Dawn the manager and it was a completely different interview. I was asked if I knew anything about the products they sell. I replied with E.L.F. and a few others that are not high end brands and she just shriveled her face up. She then proceeded to tell me about dress code while picking apart the entire outfit I had on. Dawn looked me up and down and started with my shirt.. “We don’t wear patterns anymore.. and we don’t wear shorts here… and you can’t wear tennis shoes well you can if they are a certain brand.” It was like being in high school again. I was told that the lead cashier was already filled and if I came to work for them I would need to bring extra clothes and make myself presentable during open hours. The pay was only $11 an hour but I’m expected to come dressed in Michael Kors? The interview ended and Dawn informed me she would talk with the GM about me and they would call. I received an email two days later saying that they were going in another direction. I sat there in that interview, and I was made to feel like trash and not worthy enough to work for Ulta beauty. This company seriously needs to look over their policies and the management that they have running their stores. I will never shop here again, nor apply here ever again.
