I chose 2 kids from the angel tree and dropped off the gifts. I found out that there were still kids that needed an angel so I chose 4 more kids. The bottom line is PLEASE help out those that are less fortunate. Any gift will go along way. And they take donations yr around.

The lady at the front desk named Monique has a nasty attitude. I can't believe the Salvation Army allows her to continue to work there and does not represent what the Salvation Army stands for. I do believe she is a racist person because of the way she treats people of a different skin color of hers. I have been to the Salvation Army on several different occasions, and each time, she spoke in a rude manner to me and others. When I walked to the window for assistance, she just rudely dismissed me to sit down. I was treated as if I was a nobody who's causing her problems. If you want to be treated with respect and dignity, do not seek help from the Salvation Army.

This is a good place for help. I wish they would give out more meat. And cut the months down to two months instead of three. Times are getting harder

Very professional and helpful staff. The food pantry here is awesome and it provides you a basket full of healthy meals and snacks. You may apply by bringing a utility bill in your name with the address of where you live or a signed lease most current lease and it must state if your utilities are included in your rent. Also a list of all household members and all income. The food pantry helps those individuals or families whose incomes are limited. Those who are eligible may visit the pantry one time every three months .There are social workers who will assist you with your individual case. Some services are available while some are not. If your case required a service that is not available , then the worker will provide you referral . It will be up to you to go .In my opinion there are always those people who never get enough and always complain. Well you can't please them all. If you make the decision to request the help of others , then beggars should not be choosy. If help you receive is not good enough for you because you expect gold platter service , then it's very simple to look elsewhere. Some services they help to provide or offer s referral to another program may include learning programs for those who want to learn how to read or obtain a GED, food pantry , referrals to local programs that offer rental assistance , snack bags , information on how to obtain an identification card, info on how to receive your mail if you do not have an Address , showers for the homeless, washing and drying clothes assistance for the homeless, emergency shelter , information on it referrals to transportation assistance for medical or personal , breakfast donuts and coffee. Please be patient while the facility is being remodeled to make it a comfortable place for those who visit and work here.If you are a new visitor then you may be asked to fill out a few sheets of information explaining your immediate needs, emergency needs and short term needs .If you.have the correct proof of income and.address and meet the requirements then you will not be turned away. Please be patient while waiting to receive help because you are not the only one in need and there is only limited staff and some may even be volunteers .This charitable organization has quite a long history in serving citizens who need help or live at or below poverty level . This program is an income based program designed to help make ends meet. They strive to provide the best service and make a difference in the lives of those who request their help .

I called and talked with them before they told me to come in and they would see if they might be able to help me with a very large power bill. I had very little in my car and no money to put more in it. But I got there and got there got out they wouldn't let me in the door. It was very hot they just almost passed out then they let me in and gave me some water. Then with all that they said they couldn't help me.
