I just put a bunch money in a cd, officer gives me a print out sheet, no official cd papers, no print out of beneficiaries, then says anything else I can help u with. They have security officer there that is rude as hell. When I asked question, he got in my face. Is that how u treat a Customer who has alot money there. I want my paperwork, or is it just Gulfport, MS have rude, lazy people.

I've been a member of Navy Federal since 1982. Over the years I have had some good and some bad experience with them. Overall me experience has been positive. This particular branch went above and beyond customer service when I needed them the most.

I just had the worst experience with Navy Federal...I applied for a credit card increase on June 19th and choose to check on it on June 21st at this location. When I arrived the lady told me I had to wait out in the car or in the nex until they had an available representative due to covid. So I waited about 30 minutes then finally got a text to come in. When I sat down with the representative she told me my request was submitted on the 20th not the 19th. Then she proceeded to tell me I was my request was denied due to being close to my credit limit. Which is a straight up lie because I have updated my credit limit before being over my current credit limit. And she said that my credit score may also be a reason. So just a little background I have a 700 credit score and have had this credit card with Navy Federal for 5 years and have never been late on a payment. So not taking no for an answer I called for a representative over the phone post leaving. The representative told me my request was still pending and that he or she from the store can not tell a customer whats it been denied for. He also gave me a realistic time frame to when my request will be processed. I just want to let Navy Federal know that I almost withdraw from Navy Federal and that they should really work on this location. I have served in the military for 5 years and had Navy Federal for all of them and never had this issue before. I will never go to this location again.

AWFUL BUSINESS PRACTICES! PLACES HOLDS ON MEMBERS ACCOUNTS WHEN THE 3 GUIDELINES FOR PLACING HOLDS ON ACCOUNTS DID NOT OCCUR! I HAVE AN ADDITIONAL $$$ CREDIT ON TOP OF MY $$$ CREDIT LIMIT! THEY COULD (REGARDLESS IF THEY DECIDE/CHOOSE TO OR NOT) MAKE EXTRA MONEY OFF MY $$$ ADDITIONAL CREDIT!

Can't get an auto loan for less than $3000. My credit doesn't have to be excellent to get a uses car, that's the point of a used car right? I'll keep navy federal for now but I'm opening an account somewhere that will treat a veteran right

They always help me, and give me good advice when it comes to making sure my credit stays good. I have never once had a problem with them, they are always friendly and ask me how I'm doing. I love this navy federal it's the reason I haven't changed banks.

Nfcu SUCKS. They are rude and they DO NOT help their military personnel. We rented out our house when my husband got a change of duty station. The people who were renting the house stopped paying rent. Just after ONE month only, NFCU froze our bank account and treated us like criminals, were extremely rude and unhelpful. They did not care at all about our problem, as "well, too bad, bur you gotta pay now or else". Bottom line, I am sticking with USAA, they are the total opposite of NFCU, and they have the BEST customer service.
