Only bank I know that can’t print out debit cards they take 10 days to mail them. Well I’ve actually been waiting more than 10 days

I've been with the bank for twenty five years with my personal and business accounts. I've never had a problem until a couple of weeks ago making an international transfer. The person making the transfer made numerous mistakes. When I told them it wouldn't work they copped an attitude with me. I was right, the transfer didn't go through and got kicked back because of mistakes. Then when I went in to sign the paperwork again I had my honesty and integrity about what happened questioned, by who I take it was the branch manager, she then made unfounded accusations against me of abuse to multiple employees and filed a complaint having all my accounts closed. When I received the letter I spoke to the VP and manager of bank protective services Al Tapper and was told basically it didn't matter how long I'd been with them they were just going to close my accounts out on unfounded accusations by this person with no evidence whatsoever. Before they merged with Whitney bank this never would happened. If it was possible to give zero stars I would.

My account got access, filed Fraud, Closed my debit card took 10 days to get new one, They added on Overdraft fees to Fraud case and took them out. Tried to close my account and told they would not close it till account was zeroed. How can it be zero if your trying to stop transactions from posting that you did not authorize. then they want to charge $35/per block item you ask for. Charge you $5 per month of statements even when you printout is only 2-3 pages. Since Whitney became a part of Hancock this bank has gone downhill. They were a good back back when it was just Hancock.

Fees fees and more fees. They will nickel and dime you to death while they're using YOUR money! I got charged an overdraft fee for a very large transaction that came out twice due to a system glitch on their side. So they refused to reverse it until it was investigated. They finally reversed the second transaction, and I had to fight tooth and nail to get the overdraft fee returned... THEN after I got that fixed, finally, I got hit with a fee for the same amount, 36 dollars, because my account was negative for so many days while they were "researching" it! How convenient right!? They refused to reverse that fee, so I just gave up and now I'm switching banks. I don't deal with crooks...

Hancock Bank is terrible business banking! Walked into a branch closed an account asked to be sure there wasn’t a fee to close the account low and behold 2 months later I get saying I had a $35 fee tacked on and was sent to their collections department. Of course they can’t tell me what the fee is for I need customer service! Call customer service they don’t know all they know is that the account was sent to collections! By now my time is worth far more then the fee so I just pay it. Which is exactly why they employ these types of extortion tactics! Counting on people to not have time to deal with it! But guess what? I scratched up the time for this review!

I have a small family run business. Due to a request of our governor we had to close our doors in an attempt to help lower the curve of illnesses from covid19. Priscilla Crossgrove was the banker to assist me in preparing my application for the payment protection program. SBA money to assist us during this time of great need.
