Went to the door at 8:46 and the lady refused to let me in said they were closed but she let in people that she knew so they could shop. Completely unprofessional.

Okay name is Michael me and my wife we are from California we love this location the store manager can't remember her name but she is amazing there is a male manager forgot his name and another associate they are all amazing in there and me and my wife think that is the best Dollar general in all of Gulfport Mississippi thank you so much we wanted to put this on their reviews hopefully the corporate people sees this they are very awesome people

We visited this Dollar General and had a horrible experience with the customer service/check out process. The cashier was very unprofessional and lacked customer service; I couldn’t tell she was even an employee but her dress. Upon approaching the register, I greeted her, and she stared at me and continued talking to someone on FaceTime while scanning our items. She was literally on FaceTime the whole time checking us out, even when a when the cash register malfunctioned. The pin pad wouldn’t process payments so she called over another employee to assist. With no resolve, this girl on FT leaves the register and walks behind (CLOSED) self checkout, and looks at us as if we knew to meet her there. So we took our the bag of our items over to self checkout and she turned it on then rung our items up at the self checkout, continuing her convo on FaceTime all they way up to our departure from the store.

I visit often. It says it closes at 9, but it's often closed at 8:45. I pulled up and walked up to the door tonight at 8:55. Customers inside. Doors locked. Young last stands at the door and does loud laugh while looking at me. Unprofessional.

This store was in disarray. It appeared that there was no manager for weeks. The location was not in a prime location. I guess that is a good thing. It also appeared that they had inventory earlier in the day. Or perhaps it was a week ago. The store was a mess. The employees were trained as to where things went, although they were not trained in stocking. I can't believe that every one is on break all at the same time. This place is lacking management.

They need to change prices on shelf to match the register. I feel like I getting ripped off. I tell the cashier and said I have to pay what the register says. But on the shelf is different price. I'm not happy.
