“I went in for a brake and tire check up. It was my first time there. Since my husband passed away, this is up to me to handle now. My brakes are at 90% , which is great, tires not so much. I bought 4 new tires (50,000). They rotate every 5,000 miles and fix any tire as part of the service.Everyone was very nice and respectful . I definitely recommend!”

I had a lift kit and new tires installed, and after everything was done, I started getting a vibration. It wasn’t anything they caused, but Chris went above and beyond to help figure it out. After taking the time to really check things over, he found the issue was in the tires themselves.
He swapped them out for a different brand that worked great, and now the truck rides smooth as ever. That kind of customer service and dedication is hard to find these days.

After trying 2 different places i called here and thought I would get the run around again.. but Joey told me to come on in and he would have my car fixed the same day. And they did just that. “Dependable Auto Repair is a fair shop, contrary to what I last reviewed and I retract my statements. As a way to take responsibility for that last review I would like to publicly apologize to Gerald the GM and their Staff.
I've utilized Dependable Auto Repair three times, and each time they were quick, efficient, informative, and they even have a really good quoting system that will send information right to your phone to review before you make any commitments.
They replaced my EVAP Core in my car the first time and fixed some things I screwed up on the second go around.
The third time, I got toyed with by a very dishonest shop. Promising me they would repeatedly get it done, promising me a day, and it never came.
So I called Dependable Auto Repair and I told them what was going on, first they went over the review that I previously posted and I did apologize for that. In all honesty, I haven't had much experience with shops, and after going to Dependable Auto Repair, a Dealership, and another shop I will not name. I can say with more confidence, that Dependable Auto Repair holds up to their name.
I will say they weren't able to repair my car, but that is more of a result of my own doing, don't replace your transmission, do your timing (and screw it up), try to replace lifters and slightly break off part of your camshaft and expect it not to scare someone away from your vehicle and look at potential liabilities.
I'm left to repair my own vehicle as a result of my own doing, but the best thing I can say about Dependable Auto Repair, is that at least they were honest with me. The other shop kept my vehicle for three weeks and didn't do anything. Dependable Auto Repair looked at my vehicle the first day I brought it to them, and had a verdict within four hours.
They also pointed me in the general direction of what might be wrong without charging me, as they didn't feel comfortable working on my vehicle due to liabilities. Understandable, but they were honest, and told me on the FIRST day.
They spout a reasonable price for hourly charges, at $125 an hour, whereas if you're going to a dealership they will charge you $175 an hour and $150 for each diagnostic point. Hell they might have even charged me just to lay eyes on my car but Dependable Auto Repair didn't.
All and all, I can say that out of the three places I've been to, I can put my trust in Dependable Auto Repair to be not only dependable, but reliable, efficient and honest.
Again Gerald, I would like to apologize for my previous review, we all have different ways we learn about things and this was my way of learning about working with Mechanic Shops.”

“This is a business I can definitely recommend. The top on my Miata was falling apart. Just so happened that the good folks here had a beautiful canvas Robbins top w/glass back window/defrost*in stock* and were able to get us in immediately. The canvas top looks better and is more durable than the OEM or an aftermarket vinyl top. No leaks! They even included the rain rail. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. My dad is taking his classic DeSoto in for a headliner next.”

“Went in for a coolant flush. They're busy! I can easily see why. Some of the nicest people. They couldn't do the service I requested (needed an adapter for my particular vehicle), but they didn't charge me and still left my car in better condition than when I dropped it off. I was traveling through from Colorado. Otherwise I'd come back to have them work on my vehicles in the future. Nice to have the confidence to go in somewhere (as a tourist) and have such kind mannered people taking care of you, and not trying to take advantage.”
