The bed and breakfast is right in the middle part of town. Within walking distance to the coffee shop and restaurant. Has a more "rustic" vibe, which was what I was looking for. Very clean and spacious rooms. Shampoo, body wash, body lotion and MAKEUP REMOVER wipes + towels were provided. There is a water/tea/coffee station in the downstairs common area. There's a lounge area with 2 comfy sofas upstairs that were perfect for some reading. The porch has nice rocking chairs for pictures. We were there for sat-sun, so a nice basket of fruits+breakfast items were provided instead of a breakfast. They even included a nice handwritten welcome card <3.

We had a wonderful stay. Our room was in an old log cabin. Room was big, for a cabin, with a private bathroom and heat/air conditioning controls. It was a quiet location. The best part was the breakfast. Donna did a fantastic job!! Literally the best b-n-b breakfast we have ever had.

I always enjoy my stay at this delightfully cozy Bed and Breakfast. The B&B is clean and comfortable and the breakfast is phenomenal! The staff is so welcoming and friendly. No visit to or through French Camp on the Natchez Trace is complete without a night or two at the French Camp Bed and Breakfast Inn.

The experience is everything - imagine you are a traveler 200-300 years ago. There's a log cabin lodge off the path. Well, this one does have nice, hot showers and Keurig and electricity ? Besides the lodge and cabins, there is a historic town to explore. This has a very safe, peaceful feel - quiet, very little traffic, a restaurant and coffee shop nearby, and a couple of stores for clothing, souvenirs - all closed on Sunday.

A group of us stayed at the French Camp Bed and Breakfast on September 8th 2023 during our motorcycle trek from Nashville, TN to Natchez, MS on the Natchez Trace. This place is awesome!! My wife and I stayed in the Burford Cabin. It was immaculate and clean and very rustic but with modern amenities. The breakfast that Donna made for us was insanely good!! There are rocking chairs on all of the front porches and we just sat around and visited and enjoyed the tranquility of this place. We also had dinner at their restaurant, The Council House. The food there could not have been any better. I had the fish with the crawfish sauce on it... WOW!!! You will not go wrong staying here.

Everything about the town and the bed and breakfast is magically. A beautiful small town that is dedicated to providing education to deserving youth. The school students are employed by the restaurant that is walking distance from the B&B, they make many of the gifts available in the shop, and the B&B supports the school as well. A lovely town to walk around full of great humans with interesting stories. Stay and get to know a very unique but inspiring town.Rooms: So cozy and comfortable. Everything was perfect for our stay, and we were able to lock our bikes on the covered front porch.Safety: Town was adorable—went for a walk at night and the people were friendly providing directions on where to go and the dogs roaming the town were adorable and so nice.Walkability: Small town so can walk and see everything on foot or bike. It sits right on the Natchez Trace parkway and is a must stop for all bikers going through. you can refuel you body and your soul.Food & drinks: Council house restaurant provides a great atmosphere for a cozy dinner. Food was delicious and the service was great. The breakfast basket provided by the B&B was lovely and provided a wide variety of items for breakfast.

We've actually stayed here before and don't have any recollection of having the same experience. As much as we love the area and think the rooms in the main house have quaint southern charm, we wanted to stay here (this time) in hopes of getting some rest before a big event. That did not happen. We got very little sleep. The bed in the room we stayed in (this trip) was quite bad and there was a constant loud hum from something turning on and off all night outside our window. We both woke very early not anticipating a productive day ahead.

Terrific stop. 3 big reasons for 5 stars:1. Super accommodations2. Fantastic food3. The staff bends over backwards to make it work for your needs whatever they are.I will always stop at French Camp. Plus all the financial activity of restaurant and BnB support the French Camp Academy and its mission.Donna was especially helpful and a magical cook.
