This dealership is about 40 minutes from my house, so we were reluctant to make the drive unless we were SURE the car was in our price range. We were told multiple times via text message that the OUT THE DOOR price would be $18k. No extra fees. No financing charges. My wife took off work and drove down to purchase the vehicle. Then the financing department tried to add an additional $3k, making the out the door price $21k. They would not honor the price we had been given, even though we had text messages clearly showing $18k out the door. No financing charges. No extra fees. What a waste of time. Very unethical. Will be reporting to BBB.
Update: The GM of the dealership called within 24 hours to straighten things out. They honored the agreed upon price and we went back today to purchase the vehicle. The salesman was very apologetic and the finance guy today was friendly and fast. Kudos to them for making it right.

We have never shopped a Kia before.
I never realized the quality and the coverages that they have.
My wife and I went to Wilson Kia to just inquire. They completely understood that we were strictly shopping for my wife - and by shopping, I mean going to more than just their dealership. They didn't skip a beat, they shown us around, told us what they can do for us, but more importantly - didn't guilt trip us into trying to stay strictly with them.
Kudos Wilson Kia. Highly recommend.

Marshall Kranz was a pleasure to work with!! I normally hate dealing with salesman but he was not pushy at all!! He listened to my needs and got me a deal I couldn't refuse!!! That car was for the Mother in law but I will be back soon for myself first stop Wilson Kia!!

I had a good experience! If you are looking for a good sales person look for tony and I deal with danny as well. I also like the fact that you get a follow up call from your sells person because that normally never happens.

My experience with my 2020 Kia Optima has been great until 81,090 miles rolled over a couple weeks ago.
I am still under my 100,000 mile warranty…..which is One of the main reasons I bought the Kia in 2020 for peace of mind. My mind doesn’t seem to be at peace.
We have a shop and a car lift at home that we change all of our vehicles oil and keep receipts from various places we’ve purchased the oil and the filters.
There have been a handful of times we went around town for oil changes and we were able to provide those receipts as well.
Kia is stating we have to provide oil changes from actual places and otherwise there is no approval, and our receipts we currently have provided will not work ?? Another option they have offered is for us to pay for a $330 video to prove the oil isn’t sludge … which it isn’t because we had the oil changed as the miles went by.
The service department has been so great but this week has been a complete disappointment with no car to get work at the hospital and having to bother my kids for rides. And this is still not resolved.
UPDATE to my previous review and to the response I received:
My husband and I have discussed the issue with both corporate and the dealer. There are multiple public forums with a massive amount of other similar engines that have failed. So with both the dealer and corporate, pointing fingers and saying that I will be responsible for paying anything toward this faulty engine.
It seems KIA is using the fact that my husband changes the oil as a scapegoat. It appears KIA is wanting to get out of repairing a vehicle/engine that is very well known to have this exact failure. So, it leaves my family no choice to make any further payments on a vehicle that will no longer be functional. The fact that the dealer also wanted us to pay for a video, that seems the dealers repair tech could manipulate and deny the claim.
And please don't say it would be documented and available for the customer's review. Because you have already denied accepting my husband documentation of personally changing the oil. He has successfully changed the oil in our 4 kids and our 2 cars for years. Not to mention that he's rebuilt many high performance engines, so him being a farm oy mechanic is not acceptable? So you are going to charge us $350 to $400 for a video? Just keep the car and I will call an attorney.
