Went in today to shop and return one item. I didn’t have the paper receipt, but I did have the transaction pulled up on the app on my phone. The app clearly states that this can be used for a return. Besides I wasn’t even asking for a refund, I simply wanted to apply it to my purchase. The associate refused to take the return stating that they can’t take a return without the paper receipt. I explained that I had done this before , that it was never a problem, and that the site clearly states that their return policy allows a return without a receipt, and that an exchange for merchandise would apply. She still refused saying that their policy had changed and that they were using a new system that didn’t allow it. Well dollar general, this is a fail. You need to train your associates to follow your company policy, and if they don’t know how to do it, call a manager. There are plenty of other stores to shop. If you want to keep your customers you need to step it up.

The store located on hwy 590 in Ellisville, MS is always clean. The workers are always straightening out the store and replenishing stock. Everyone that works there goes out of their way to be helpful. The manager is very helpful, and sociable. This store is one of the best Dollar General's I have gone to. I go out of my way to frequent this particular store because of these reasons. Great job hwy 590.

Great to see them spreading to more rural locations! It's so convenient to be able to stop hear instead of having to travel all the way to town. All the employees are very friendly and the store is kept clean and neat. It's a good sized store too with a good selection and excellent parking lot.
