Rude as hell.. Called and asked a legitimate question about pricing for a specific labor. He had an attitude as if I’m the person who pi$$ed him off! I didn’t make him go to work nor am I the 1 who told him to pursue the mechanic trade so why get an attitude with a potential customer. I’ll take my money, business, and vehicle elsewhere. Keep in mind I’m a local business owner so I’m big on customer service. Respect takes you a long way!

Charged me to check my truck out and told me it was a coil pack about 300 dollars to check it and fix it well that didn’t fix it I paid someone else and they found out it was the catalytic converter so they charged me a lot of money for nothing!

I have a Chevy suburban 07 had problems filling it up so I took it to Gilsons and they did a test on it an the lines had to be replaced and they did it for me in one day never had any problems after that I told all my friends to go there beat shop in Mississippi hands down

Love love love this shop! They are down to earth, do great work and their pricing is reasonable. Be prepared: they don't make appointments. But if you can work with that, they are absolutely the best.

Well this my to go automotive repair place. I have come here for year and they always are responsible and honest. I don't go to other places so I can't compare prices, but I think that they are pretty fair. They stand behind their work 100%. Dave is the best mechanic. Right now he is working the front desk but he keeps an eye on work progress at all times. For me it is a great place to bring your vehicle for repairs.

Took my Yukon Denali to Gilson's after I was told by another mechanic that I need a new engine. The vehicle wouldn't accelerate and it felt like the engine was losing power. He ran some test and found the timing sensors were bad and messing with the shifting of the engine. Now it runs like a dream and David at Gilson's saved me about $6000. Thanks for doing it right. Went in there to get an estimate on a repair and they wouldn’t look at it. Said they were too busy, however when I pulled in the lot the service techs were standing in the garage yaaking it up. Went to Clark’s and they fixed it!

Great service!!! My car runs great after they replaced a water pump in it back in December. And they replaced my battery this past week. It runs great.Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly!

We are a Landscaping company and have multible service trucks in our fleet. We just made a change in our 'go to' repair shop to Gilson Automotive Repair. I want to say that we are very well pleased with their performance. Before we would have to wait a week or so to get something back from other repair shops. With Gilson Automotive, they call us the same day we would deliver the truck to let us know whats wrong with the vehicle and would do the repairs that same day. Thats what I call excellant service. Something that is scarce nowadays!

Hard to find an honest mechanic shop these days, but this place is great! They go out of their way to make sure you're getting a good, honest deal rather than trying to find random things to charge you for. I cannot recommend them more.Service: Brakes
