We've been using Dr. Andrew Williams at Alcorn Eye Care for years. He's great with us. He's intelligent and advising in appropriate manner. I recommend him to anyone of any age.

Worst eye exam I've had in 50+ years. I literally got the five minute special. The tech read my glasses prescription incorrectly. The doctor spent less than five minutes performing what my insurance company assured me would be a "comprehensive" eye exam. And I was a brand new patient. He had no previous visit to take information from and fill in blanks. And he asked no questions.I left there not knowing any more about my vision than I did when I walked in the door. Not one person in the office introduced themselves including the doctor, so I have no idea who I dealt with.in 50+ years of eye exams, I have NEVER received such a shoddy eye exam and overall quality of eyecare.

I have been referred here for a very thorough eye exam to rule the need of glasses as the root of my constant headaches. A couple of my family members have been here also with no issues. The eye pressure test consits of blowing air into your open eyeball to measure the pressure. Not very comfortable, but neither is the version that uses a pen looking apparatus that pushes your eyeball to measure pressure like the type used at Garrett Eye Clinic. The eye exam concluded that my eyes are petfect and there is no need for glasses. Although they say I see perfectly I do disagree somewhat, because of side effects of Sjogren's Syndrome it is very difficult to focus and there is immense pain from the extreme dry eye and that in turn blurs my vision.

I've been having severe headaches behind my eyes, accompanied with blurred vision, seeing double at night, I finally made it to the eye dr. To my disappointment, I was told I have "nearly perfect vision." Honestly, how can I have perfect vision when my vision is blurred, seeing double, and headaches? How can I have perfect vision when I squint constantly to see anything!?!?! I felt like I was an inconvenience on his Saturday at work. It was a very quick visit & basically I paid money to hear absolutely nothing that could help me. Very disappointed with this visit and will not return. I'm currently seeking another eye doctor to actually help me. NOT A RECOMMENDED PLACE TO GO.
