I walked in to drop a package off to be shipped and paid for the shipping and the lady took my box and threw it in the cart. Do NOT throw my box around especially when it has an electronic device worth over $200 in it. I had enough bubble wrap in it to protect the inner sides, top, and bottom to where it doesn’t move even an inch when shook, so it’s definitely fine, but still. Highly unprofessional and I will be calling to report.

Bottom line:
-Lazy delivery service
-Probable illegal practices
-In-person services will make you wait for them to finish personal conversations
This is the worst USPS office with which I have ever had the displeasure of working. For example, when I had my engagement ring shipped to me from out of state, it was supposed to be signed for with registered mail. It ended up sitting in my mailbox for 3 days while I was moving my fiancée from NC, and it was marked “signed for” on the USPS website. That was a lot of money to be in my mailbox for three days with an invalid signature. This is standard operating procedure for this office. Use their services at your own risk.

4 packages in a week were not delivered because "oversized" ....one to include a box with 4 rolls of papertowels. A delivery service that does not deliver....

Honestly, the USPS has become the worst part of this country in recent years. They lose your stuff and then tell you to submit a claim just so they can deny it even though you bought the insurance.
I honestly think this post office has been the worst to get deliveries from, and I believe people in this branch steal packages as some of mine have randomly been delivered to a PO Box, yet they claim that it was returned to sender.

Drop the automated voice message system. I was on the phone with it for 5 mins just to get to an agent just for it to tell me there’s none available.

Here with our company for a short time because we travel for work. Didn’t have problems when we first arrived, all packages were delivered and all was well. Now post office will say our packages are delivered when they are not but will not leave slips to pick up. When you go in to get them they are very rude and scold you for putting the address you were told to put. Now they have completely quit delivering to my location and say it’s because the workers don’t want to. With our company we work 14 hours a day every day and are unable to go to the post office to pick up.

They never deliver your packages!! They just drop off a slip from them to pick up your packages at the post office cause they " ran into a problem with delivery."

This place is absolutely ridiculous. Can't even talk to a real person it's all robots who can't understand proper English. Columbus itself is a joke so I guess the postal services here are doing the same.

Absolute incompetence. Who cares about timely delivery of junk mail, but many internet businesses (e.g. Amazon) use the post office for their final delivery. Packages will move halfway across the continent in 24 hours and then sit for a week at the Columbus Post Office waiting to be moved the final 2 miles to their destination.

What do you have to do to get someone to answer the phone!?? Doesn't matter if it's morning or afternoon, nobody wants to answer it! I will give them credit that if you go inside they are mostly friendly and courteous but I'm not close to this location so it's not convenient for me to just stop by. I just wish someone would answer the dang phone!
