I tried to rent from the 801 Highway 12 location. I'm a 20 year old out of town college student with no car. I was trying to rent to get to St. Louis for a job interview. When I reserved the car I made triple sure to check that I was 20-24 and tried to call the week before my reservation four times to confirm and the call was dropped every single time because the number was changed but the new number wasn't listed anywhere on the corporate website or google maps or apple maps. Upon arriving I was informed that I could not rent a car because I wasn't 21 and that even though it's listed on the website they couldn't do it because they're a franchise and not a corporate location. This was not listed ANYWHERE in the fine print of my reservation. The representative didn't attempt to aid me at all and did not provide a valid phone number for the other locations in the area while knowing the number listed wasn't valid. She then walked away without offering me any assistance nor did she reappear to offer any sort of help. I will never rent from Hertz.

Great experience at this Hertz. The staff were friendly and accommodating and the car was ready and waiting for me. It was clean and new. Great experience!

As others have said, if I could give a 0, I would. Good luck getting service if you run into trouble. Patched through to roadside service through Hertz corporate, held for over an hour, and phone was NEVER answered. Left a voicemail on their airport number…nothing. Literally makes me want to never use Hertz if these are the folks they partner with.

If I could give a 0 star, I would. I had a mechanical issue with a rental car and when corporate hertz attempted to contact this location they never answered. I attempted to call several times as well and was assured by corporate that this location would give me a new rental once I showed up with my case number in hand. The woman at the desk told me she couldn't. After exhausting all of my energy dealing with the broken down vehicle, I didn't feel like arguing. If you're looking to rent a car, consider another business because Hertz is only looking out for themselves.

Couldn't replace my rental here due to a mechanical malfunction after Hertz roadside assistance said I would be able to. Front desk employee wasn't very helpful.

Got a whole speach on.. "Some People". Don't know the difference between. A credit card and a debit card. Like I'm a child. Even after i explained. I'm a gold member. And i have a credit card. But i guess my skin tone. Puts me in the "Some People" Category.

So I picked up a government rental here. Big mistake. I came here to exchange out a rental car with a slow tire leak and that needed an oil change (I was going to have the car over a month and this was day 3). I exchanged it at airport near my destination. Hertz proceeds to charge me fees out the yang. 10+ phone calls later and they said they stand by their $400+ in extra charges for exchanging the car out at the wrong location, miles etc. All of which shouldn't apply with a government rental. Not to mention the car problems were their fault. I gave up and accepted I'm out the $400 because hertz isn't going to fix it. I just decided I'm never using hertz again. The guy at first location even told me he processed my rental wrong but apparently can't fix it??? The location I did the exchange at was in the middle of nowhere and the only location for hours but hertz punished me because they were a franchisee. (Which as a customer you have no way of knowing). The franchisee never answered their phone (even when my tire was flat and my car wouldn't stop beeping it needed an oil change). So don't exchange out your broken hertz car here is the moral of this story, drive on that flat tire to a real city. . . This location is a franchisee and hertz won't touch them. Oh and their hours are more a suggestion than a thing. . . So be prepared to wait and just be surprised when they open or close.

Horrible experience. My sister asked about one way rental cost. They said she would get reciept from where she would drop it off. But was quoted $160.00. Recieved receipt for total cost of rental. One week later for another hit on credit card for $800 and two days later got another hit for $200! Total rental from Columbus, MS to Atlanta, GA for a one way rental for a Corolla was over $1000!!!!
