I purchased a used RAV4 from a neighboring lot several months ago. When it was time to have it serviced, I opted to bring it to Carl Hogan Toyota and let the experts take care of it. Not only were they friendly and helpful, they were able to identify everything that the previous dealership had failed to service in accordance with the car’s recommended 100k mile tune-up. Kevin gave me a projection of the costs and was straight with me about which services were most urgently needed so that I could plan accordingly and get it taken care of in a way that suits my budget. I’ll be bringing it back to them several times over the next few months and I’m confident in their quality of work and professional integrity.

Strictly giving 1 star because 0 isn’t an option. This is based on my last experience only. The service tech man who waited on me was a condescending patronizing male chauvinist. He treated me like I was a stupid female who didn’t know what cross rotation meant, when I was the one who asked for it..only to be told that CH didn’t do that…which they had done for the last 3 1/2 years of servicing my SUV. Then he proceeded to tell me that my tires were in such bad shape that there was no reason to rotate them…they needed replacing. Even though they only had 36,000 miles on them!! Which again treating me as if I was a stupid woman and couldn’t/didn’t know when my tires needed replacing. And upon checking out he went over checklist for fluids, tires, etc..only for him to THEN tell me that my tires had at least another 10,000-15,000 miles left on them!!!! I lost it with him after the way he had treated me when I arrived and telling me how “bad” of shape my tires were in!! THEN when I walked out to the car with the very kind Service Manager I realized that my tires had NOT been cross rotated!! I have a scrape on one rim and can tell when they’ve been cross rotated or not!! The very kind Service Manager had this taken care of immediately…however I had asked the service tech TWICE if he had written down “cross rotate” on the service order only to be told “yes m’am”!! Obviously he did NOT and had no intention of me getting my tires cross rotated. It HAS to be written on the service order for the tire guys to know what to do!! The kind Service Manager made a copy of paperwork that proved he never wrote it on the order!! Unfortunately I wasn’t the only one there that day this guy had treated this way. There were 2 other elderly ladies I talked to while waiting that he had treated the same way. We had plenty of time to compare notes during our 3 HOUR WAIT!! I will go back to CH because prior to this jerk, I have never been treated this way. Just be sure you ask for Tony or Nikki…don’t let the tall mid age white guy wait on you!! Actually.. He has NO business being allowed to wait on women at ALL!!

I love my rav4 and I love speaking and scheduling my maintenance care with Nicole at the Carl hogan Toyota in Columbus ms. She really knows what she’s talking about and is very helpful in the maintenance department. I trust beer and purposely go to her with any and all my questions!!!!

Work was high quality. Wait time was very good. Cost of the labor was reasonable, but the part was extremely expensive. Additional maintenance services were recommended, but the estimated cost would be over $1,000. Too steep for a retired senior citizen on fixed income when the income doesn’t cover monthly expenses.
