I’m not really the type to leave reviews unless I was reallly treated bad at a placeBut I just wanted to leave this review because the staff here are so kind and courteous. ThesePeople seem to care about the tenants compared to some places I’ve been where a desk clerk at a hotel was “just a job” to a personDon’t know their names but the staff at this location deserve to be recognized. Nice folks, super soft pillows, but bed was hard as a rock.Walkability: Very close to a mini mall with several great places to eat and phone/tech shops.

i've been staying at this hotel for work since october off and on, but recently my coworkers and i have had issues with someone stealing medication and money. if you have any valuables, or medications (esp stimulants, that seems to be the major thing) keep them locked in your car. i let the front desk woman, sharon, know. she told me initially that she's worked there 27 years and sheNs never heard anything like that happening, then got defensive with my coworkers and i later on when we tried to check in on the situation. she told my coworkers and managers that i was the only one who had been in and out of my room all week (i wasn't, my coworkers came in too), but also told them different stories about the cameras not working and footage being deleted after a week. be careful with your items if you come here. otherwise everything else at this hotel is very nice staff is good breakfast is alright.

I’m normally exclusive to Marriott hotels and am kind of spoiled in that regard- I generally don’t stay at lower budget hotels.But I rolled into Columbus, MS around 4 AM, and every Marriott property was sold out- this was the only place that I could check in at that hour and get some much-needed sleep before a meeting I had later that day at 12pm!Not knowing what to expect, I didn’t figure I had much of a choice.WOW was I surprised…gentleman at the front desk was so nice- and my room was very clean with everything I needed. It is slightly dated as you can see through the small details, but overall nice- decent location for Columbus with well-lit parking lot and free breakfast.At $100 a night I was pleasantly surprised with the value I got for that, and would stay again.

Rooms were fine to crash for the night. However, upon checking in and asking for a floor level room and I was told no. I wanted to use the gym or pool and was told no bc both close at 8 and you need to make a reservation for the pool. What the heck ? Moreover, I was told I couldn’t do a later check out. The hotel is Super 8 motel style set up. The executive suites title was slightly misleading. In the morning starting at 745 am you start hearing “knock knock knock “ everywhere for housekeeping. I finally just gave in and woke up.Pros - pool and breakfast. Beds were clean and cozy.

It was so bad that we could not stay there. We had an eighteen year old girl with us and we worried for her safety. When we arrived there were no cars in the parking areas. It was scary looking. We called Priceline, We had booked through them. After several calls and a back and forth with blame, I give up. Do not use Priceline or look for help from the Bestwestern Executive Suites manager. Greed rules the process.

This is an older hotel in a decent location. Rooms open to outside and are not clearly marked— can’t find room number from car. The room was generally clean with nice bedding and towels, but some details were missed, like splashed and black hand marks on doors, and paint missing from drawer, shower drained slowly. The breakfast area was very good with lots of options, and front desk employees were helpful. The price was to lo high for the age and cleanliness of room.

Owner is a complete rude jerk. I have a 2 yr old that left crackers and what not on floor and he yelled and tried to embarrass me after we spent 600 with this hotel. The front desk lady ms Sharon was an angel. The owner Mike is the rudest man i have ever encountered.i truly feel sorry for his wife. He is definitely a domineering abusive man i can tell from the way he talks to women and other around him. Would really like to call the better business bureau on him . When we arrived at hotel the lamp was broken , phone broke, fridge broke in the suite lol... And he has the audacity to complain about my 2 yr old. Won't be surprised to see this man on true crime net work have attacked someone with his temper. Needs to learn some customer service skill.

I booked a room online for my husband, upon arrival..no one came to the window (waiting for someone for about 15 minutes) or answered the phone after several calls..he just left...very unprofessional! I would never recommend this place to anyone. Very dissatisfied with entire situation. Public service absolutely horrible.! I would give this place 0 stars..very upset!

Horrible customer service. My first 3 days were pleasant enough. I had stained towels and bedding but it’s fine because them changing them didn’t change anything but I can over look that. My key wouldn’t work the 4th day staying there, I went in to get a new one and the young lady at the desk gave me an attitude and said that she can’t just give keys out and gave me a hard time. I said that I was staying here and my key just wasn’t working and asked for a new one, she finally gave me one. Then I’m loading my car up the next day and the door shut on me, I thought I had a key in my pocket but when I looked it wasn’t there. Unfortunately same girl was at the desk. I don’t even say anything and she says “I can’t give you a key everyday go away” and I said “my door literally just shut on me, I thought I had one with me I was just loading my car I leave in the morning”. She then says that it’s not her problem and I say that I’m literally leaving in less than 12 hours and I’m loading my car up to do so but the key I thought I had in my pocket isn’t there. She rolled her eyes and said that I better be then gave me the key. I am so sorry that two days in a row I made you do your job. You were extremely rude and I wish you all wore name tags. We were yelled at while serving ourselves the buffet breakfast every morning even though we followed their very strict rules. I get sanitizing your hands before serving yourself but yelling at people for touching the lids to the buffet when it’s serve yourself is insane. Why have a waffle maker if you’re going to be annoyed when someone asks for the batter? Why have water bottles and fruit out if you’re going to yell at people for taking them? Everyone was so rude except for the man that checked me in who was so overly friendly to make up for everyone else it was uncomfortable. DO NOT STAY HERE

Great value! Motel room is clean, a little old, but with the money. Breakfast was great but can run low on items during a rush. Staff work hard to replenish.
