Blown away by the positive experience I had with their integrity and customer service. Years later after the military moved us out of Mississippi, the manager, Josh, helped us reconcile an issue we had. He went above and beyond to help us find solutions while being incredibly patient. It’s really nice to go to a store (Columbus,MS) where the salesman is not pushy and gave us space to decide if we wanted to purchase the sofa. We specifically made the decision to come to this location based on the way Earnest handled our phone call. We called the Tuscaloosa location and they were pushy even on the phone so can’t imagine how stressful that would be in person with 2 kids in tow. We already looked online and had specific requirements in what we were looking for in a sofa. Upon arrival, Earnest met us and led us right to the couch we talked about on the phone. He then gave us space to roam and look for anything else we needed/wanted. He was friendly and courteous which was a breath of fresh air. We will only shop with Earnest from now on!! He is great!!!

Looking at the furniture in store you get excited. It's beautiful and looks well built, but it isn't. An item can be displayed as "real" leather or wood, and it is not. I bought several pieces for my new home and I have to replace most of it. Too expensive and poor quality is how I would describe it. Do your research and shop around before buying from Ashley Furniture.

Great service, got a sectional couch on a big sale. Delivery was estimated to be 2-3 weeks minimum. It came in four days later. The crew was knowledgeable and showed me how to assembled, disassemble, and move.

Recently bought a bedroom set that was on floor display for many many years. I was anxious to get bedroom set because I was moving into a new home. Little did I know, the bed had more scratches than they showed me at store. Once I realized I called management to inform them. Josh the manager was horrible at being a qyality business man. Ill stop here. Ashley Furniture in Columbus, Ms is horrible when it comes to quality and treating customers fair and with respect.

This review is specifically for the team handling repairs at the store. I purchased a reclining sectional at the sister store in Starkville sometime during 2020. After a couple of years, the motor on one of the main recliners stopped working, so I was out a seat (my seat mores the pity). I called the store and got connected with Bubba the repairs department. He ordered a new motor and had it shipped to my house free of charge even though our couch was not under warranty. I installed the motor and it worked for a month or two, but then died on me like the last one.Figuring I was officially out of my depth, I gave Bubba another call. He sent a repair guy out to the house who said the reason why the motor kept dying was because the reclining mechanism was bent and likely had been since we bought the couch (it was a floor model). He ordered a second new motor and a reclining mechanism. I was prepared to pay for the repair, but again, Bubba and his team covered the parts and labor saying "You are not under warranty, but there is no reason why your couch should be broken after such a short time. We will make this right." Some parts ordered and one visit to the house later, everything is fixed. They actually followed through unlike many others I have interacted with in the past.I have never delt with a repair team as professional and capable as Bubba's. They do exactly what they say they will and have the customer's best interest in mind. I don't usually write reviews for any businesses, but I wanted to give Bubba and his team the kudos they deserve. To Ashley's management: know that having people like Bubba working at your store is the kind of thing that makes loyal customers. I would certainly buy furniture from you all again just because of how Bubba and his team helped me and my family!

This is almost 3 yrs later review.. Everyone was very nice, I do remember the lady named Barbara helped me first, showed me around and provided details, and she definitely knows what she is talking about. I saw custom couch set, that I love very much, but had to be built per order due to the pandemic, so I had to wait, a month or two, but it may be different now. Everyone stayed in touch until it was ready, and the delivery was awesome. There was a small scratch occurred, upon the couch, during the load into the home, because it had to go upstairs, BUT they detailed that! AND sent another gentleman to build it all over again, just to make sure I had 100% of what I did paid for. So, I hope everyone understand the review here, people do help and care, but you have to try to meet people halfway to seek the results you are looking for. I’m still satisfied with my couch set and so grateful for them for making it happen. I hope anyone here will share the same experience too! TY to all of Ashley’s family, my experience truly was great!
