Honestly, I have never had a more disappointing experience than the one I had today. Every other person that I have talk to affiliated with USPS’s customer care team has been absolutely wonderful, and so very helpful!
However, I must admit that I realized today that the organization as a whole does not have their operations and policies consistent at all. You get told one thing by headquarters regarding hours of operation and procedures, only to be told differently by the actual branch location itself. It appears that each individual location operates on their own terms and does whatever they want to do in regards to being open and available for customers.
Now, as for the Clinton location, all that I can say is that I’m absolutely appalled by the level of customer service I received today over the phone. I do not know the woman’s name, but I can only assume that she’s in a managers position at this location. I have received call backs from the exact same lady every single time that I’ve called in for help regarding a delivery issue. And each time she has proven to consistently be downright RUDE and unpleasant to deal with. Every time she has given me a call back to follow-up, she gives me the same loud, condescending, and defensive tone of voice, no matter how calm I talk back to her through her berating. Considering I was nothing but kind to her, I did not deserve the way she treated me and how she constantly got loud with me over the phone. Just because I called your team out for LIEING about redelivery when they clearly did not is a blatant reflection of how operations are ran here. However, instead of acknowledging this and apologizing, she chose to get angry with me instead. I also let her know that I have a ring doorbell at my residence and that I had video proof no one ever came back out the second time after I received the first redelivery notice.
If you have such a problem with doing your job and serving customers, then maybe this isn’t the job for you since you clearly don’t know how to talk to people nicely.

the only post office that’ll actually pick up the phone (looking at you canton, won’t even answer the phone) and will call you back to inform you that it arrived. i don’t know who i worked with yesterday but she was more helpful than anyone at the main line. thank you :)

I just… idk what to say. I worked at the Bolton post office years ago and enjoyed the job, but some people just always have an attitude in customer service type jobs. I’m the last person to give someone a hard time…so here’s the situation: I had mail on hold was out of town didn’t realize package was arriving. Mail carrier knocked on my door and said (paraphrasing) oh I didn’t get the hold but it’s there if you want to pick it up or I can bring it back tomorrow. Me being understanding not trying to give anybody a hard time I said oh yeah sure tomorrow it’s all good. Tomorrow came and went…no package…today…no package so I get in my car on my break and run to post office. This really where it bites me. My wife is working during their hours so I’m trying to pick it up same address I thought it would be ok…no…has to be her id. Whatever I get it protocol people have roommates and could be stealing even if in same household etc…the reason the review is bad is because he told me he would deliver it and they say that they can’t tell him to redeliver it it had to be done online…yall can’t just tell him…if you know its a package up there for our address? but the way they talked to me throughout this was like dang why so hostile. Just all around unfriendly but maybe I got hit with it today idk…I didn’t come with an attitude I just don’t like doing stuff that way. As a carrier if you forgot just say you forgot that’s no big deal. As a worker in the inside hey save some of that for people that actually come in there treating you wrong I was just trying to see what could be done. All good though.

SUCKS 10 people in line one window open. Other employees walking around did not try to help. Was in line for 15 minutes.Need to be reported. It's like that every time.

I have had multiple dealings with this office. I try to be nice to all individuals that work in a service role due to the irate and privileged customers we so regularly see, so it’s good to have a smiling face from time to time.Despite me trying to be welcoming and nice, these workers are constantly exhibiting a nasty attitude, unwelcoming, and patronizing.Our tax dollars are wasted here and I see why their funding is constantly being cut with work ethic like this. I’ve used the UPS in clinton twice and have gotten amazing attitude and service both times. Save your self the negativity and just head to UPS.

I call the post office because the tracking number said that the package was delivery at the front door on the porch in Crystal Springs. I told the lady what the tracking number stated. I gave her ups numbers and usp numbers and she assure me that they would look into the issue. The ne t day she call me and told me that she had delivery my package at my door. I was so happy thanks.

To live in Clinton and to have unprofessional, unethical, and dishonest people delivering your mail and to take things that don’t belong to them an lie as if they delivered she be wrong on so many levels. They can’t prove it was delivered but you can prove it wasn’t delivered because you have doorbell cameras. This is an issue that shouldn’t keep going unnoticed obviously this is something they been doing sad sad and not a good look for the city of Clinton.

today is 3/15/2023 i go to pick up my mail at this post office weekly and i am just now getting mail im my box that was dated 12/15/2022. and with post marks from january there were over 20 pieces of mail and most were important time sensitive why is this happening ? this is the 2nd time i have had issues with this branch not delivering my mail to my in branch box i pay the bill early. and it is 3 times as much as some of the other branches

I have never had such bad service in my 70 years as I continue to have with the Clinton Post Office. Their carriers throw packages down on the ground or leave them in tree shrubs or behind cars. You never know. They continue to leave the wrong key for the parcels and this has cost me over $175.00. God forbid, don''t try and call them because they DO NOT ANSWER THE PHONE and if you are lucky to get someone on the phone, they are VERY rude.For the last two days, I have been trying to call but to no avail. The carrier left the wrong key once again!!! And I DO NOT HAVE 2 PACKAGES THAT WERE DELIVERED. Bad, bad service!!!
