“I've been coming here for years. It's the first Black comic store in Mississippi and one of the last real record stores. Offbeat is a culture shop and one of the true hearts of the city. Art, music, vintage clothing, toys, not to mention the events. Not only do they support local artists but they also are a hub of community involvement, emerging young artists, and small business support in the city. Jackson needs Offbeat and you should stop by and support. Everyone is welcome unless youre an entitled (expletive deleted).”

“I brought my family here on a Sunday afternoon. The gentleman at the desk was very polite informing us that the exhibit they had in place could be seen free of charge, and luckily they currently had a Picasso exhibit available to be viewed as well for a fee. I opted to see the Picasso exhibit, which I was quite pleased with. There is a crafting area in the museum that I certainly would encourage those with children to take the time to sit down and create with your children. I took pictures of the art, but due to being unsure of the legality of uploading them, I will keep them in my camera roll. Nevertheless, you will not be disappointed.”
“I was so excited to catch Wyatt working this week at the Mississippi state fair! It reminded us both of the time a few years ago that I caught him doing what he does! I know alot of people think Wyatt takes a picture and retreats to Clinton to work. It was soooo hot the day he worked on "1 out of Tin".”
