These people are true heroes who pour their heart, kindness, wisdom & professionalism into every animal and interaction with the public. They are very thorough and at the same time sensitive and caring. This is one of the finest and best run animal shelters I have ever experienced. The courteous professionalism from the shelter manager Jamey and her assistant Fawn is amazing. They work very hard and are very smart. They are excellent with the animals and wonderful with people. These are the kind of folks who restore my faith in humanity, a shining light in a sometimes dark world. I love these people and their dear animals are in great hands. God bless the Cleveland-Bolivar County Animal Shelter of Mississsippi, the fur-babies, their awesome staff and amazing volunteers!

This shelter works so hard for the animals in its care. The director and her staff will go above and beyond to match a family with a dog or cat. The shelter also networks the animals with rescues!

The Bolivar County Animal Shelter is amazing!! The new director Jamie Grant and her staff do an amazing job with the limited resources they have!! We got a our new kitten from there and she is wonderful and was very socialized! She gave me a tour of the entire place and I was so impressed! Spay and neuter your pets people!

This shelter has a new director, and has done a fabulous job! She goes over and beyond to help every animal under her care! I have brought her 2 strays that were drop offs at my home. One was an older dog that was a poodle. This director got this dog into a rescue and I was sent pictures of this dog sleeping in a bed with his foster mom!! She is amazing with these animals!

The shelter has really turned around within the past year due to there being a new director. This new director is very knowledgable on animals and has rescue experience. She really cares and has saved hundreds, if not thousands, of animals within the short time she's been there and plans to do the best she can to save more. YOU can help by volunteering, fostering, sponsoring, donating and most importantly... SPAYING/NEUTERING YOUR PETS!!!

It's clear These folks work extra hard to make the shelter life for these animals as comfortable as possible!

I adopted a kitten two days ago and was told he was about 4 weeks and hasn't been sick And had been eating well. When we got home he was playing and have a good time but the next day after we brought him home everything turned around. He wasn't eating or hardly moving. We took home to the animal hospital in Cleveland and he died there within that hour. Pretty much everything we were told about him was false. He was 2weeks( too young to be away from mom) hadn't been eating well and had 2 types of worms. The only way I would adopt from them again is if they get a full medical check up from a vet. These people need some better training!!
