I'm so sick of hearing the comercial of the Polks promise. When we moved to Flowood, Ms we had switched our monthly prescriptions to Polks drug store in doing so i filled out the paperwork so everything could be ready....nothing was done when we went to pick up our medications a month later come to find out no one ever made our profiles so it was a big hassel i had to write everything out again an wait even longer...an was very unhappy explaining to them we had just moved that why I did all the paperwork a head of time so we wouldn't have to wait....one person there that worked there was super nice an treated us with so much kindness an went beyond to help us all with respect...others there gave us some looks an well I ignored it at first bc I always give people the benefit of the doubt they seeing us as new customers. Then the 3rd time we came when the hubby broke his ankle so when we went to get his prescription with the what the doctor gave my hubby....we was questioned why an who was it for then they asked my hubby to come in when I clearly said he just had surgery an was drowsy from it all the would not process it until they saw him I could barely help my hubby up all while showing them a copy of his drivers license then it was why isn't it a mississippi licenses I'm like what does that have to do with it....also the hubby is in the process of being legal so then they requested a social as I completely explained he didn't have one bc he's still waiting for one...a blonde headed lady with a poney tail was super rude an made a comment an I was ugly back bc we are mexican/american citizen( I am) an did not need to be treated like so...honestly we felt discriminated...I know we were an I wish I could remember the sweat lady's named that saw an heard everything on how we were treated....if u ask why not just leave...well Polks was literally up the road from us is why we switched everything there. ANYWHO.....once my hubby got his meds there that time...I said NEVER EVER AGAIN will we ever used Polks Drug store ever! Neither of them. To me there "polks promise" is to there kind there commercials I only see white people so...yea. I got all of our medications sent right back to Brandon Discount in downtown Brandon...bc even though now it's a 25 minute drive I rather spend that gas money to the great an respect Ryan an his pharmacy gives us along with all kinds of people there. So shout out to a great pharmacy store Brandon Discount where we never should have left. Polks we as a family gave yall 3 tries no more just one lady there was worth us going back given it another chance. But no more. An please do not even try an contact me bc what was done is done an we are good people an did not needed to be treated in such terrible ways.

Called to transfer a prescription. A gentleman answered and I provided the information. He then asked me again for the same information, I provided it again...he put me on hold. A woman answered,she asked if I was calling to do a transfer and asked me for the information again. I said I had provided the Information to the gentleman that answered the phone. She put me on hold. A 2nd woman came to the phone and asked if I was calling to to a transfer of prescription? At that point, I had enough, I disconnected the called. Not worth the hassle of incompetence.

Polk’s employees have been extremely helpful when explaining my medications and communications with me regarding my refills or when my medications are out of refills. If it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t have noticed that on my prescription labels, it shows how many refills I have remaining. This is a great practice for CUSTOMER ACCOUNTABILITY! They are the pharmacy team, so I know handling so many prescriptions keeps them busy, but making sure I reach out to my doctor makes it a little easier on them and it builds a better relationship. Thank you all for what you do!

Completely unprofessional. I called to get them to refill my prescription, they looked me up and said we will have them ready shortly. I drive up there and they tell me I have no more refills and I need to go see my Dr. I told them that I wish they would have told me so I wouldn't have wasted a trip. She told me that it's on the bottle!. Going back to Kroger.

I found the entire setting somewhat unprofessional and lacking cordiality while discussing my business out loud and I watched people turn their heads when I caught them looking at me as the worker started talking to me shaming me regarding my insurance policy etc.. I advised the pharmacist that I have eleven prescriptions I wanted to move from Walgreen's and she publicly told me that my insurance won't even pay half the costs of purchasing the meds from the pharmacutical company. Very very rude and embarrassing.

Wish there was a negative star to push cyz I would've rated them with it they wouldn't fill my baby's Adderall prescription because he has never refilled a prescription with them and guess what and never will now that they act that way

At first, I had a great experience. After a while of using them I would have ridiculously long wait times, if something wasn’t in stock I was never notified, and the pharmacy cashier has a terrible attitude. I would avoid this place and go somewhere more professional that appreciates and cares about their customers.
