This place is kind, loving, and treats your animals like their own. I had to put my childhood cat, Milo recently and they were so compassionate and very educated on what Milo would need and what the right choice would be. They lit the candle for us and said they held my baby as he passed. I just got a note in the mail with the whole staff’s signatures and a personalized note from the doctor saying I made a living decision for my baby. Not only that, but they sent this card with a message and Milo’s paw print. I didn’t even think to get this before he was buried but I’m thanking them with all my heart that they took the time for me and my family. I recommend highly to anyone who wants a compassionate place to go in vulnerable situations ❤️

Boarded my dogs for the first time here for the weekend and they were not fed properly. The lady that checked them in was supposedly the manager and did not check paperwork to make sure it was right. I told her how they were supposed fed and she didn’t write it down nor passed it on to the kennel workers. When I complained on pickup they said since it wasn’t filled out on paperwork (that the manager never checked) there was nothing they could do to make the situation right. They are also insanely expensive and not upfront on how they charge things. Definitely would recommend boarding somewhere else!!!

we were new patients at dogwood animal hospital and they were so sweet to my boy and took excellent care of him during our appointment. the vet even called us the next day to check on him after his vaccine and was truly so kind!

We have always been happy and proud of the services we’ve received. This last visit on December 15, 2022 was for our husky, Cali’s post labor and delivery checkup. She went into labor with her very first litter the morning of the 14th at home before and during all of the tornado warnings for Rankin County that morning. Y’all listened to us and answered all of our first time newborn puppy parents’ questions. Thank y’all for taking such great care of our “New Momma Cali” and we look forward to great future visits and services!
