“Amazing dining experience in a truly classic southern restaurant. Our group of 5 sampled so many many delicious items. My favorite was the Petite Soft Shells and the Escargot. Others in the group had speckled trout, crab cakes, and triple tail and everyone loved it. Our server, Orenthal, was top notch. Great service, a wealth of knowledge, and maybe the funniest server I have ever encountered Ask for him.”

“The cafe is located inside the casino/hotel. I didn't catch the name of the hostess, but she was very friendly and chatty. Our waitress, Alycia, was probably the best server we've ever had in our lives! Ask for her! The food was great too (a chicken sandwich and a cheese burger) but it was the staff, and the atmosphere that will have us going back. Vacated tables were immediately cleaned, the staff all worked together and really seemed to like eachother which helps the vibe of a place. I can't tell you how many times I've seen 1 person working while everyone else was on their phones. HR cafe has an excellent vibe that makes you feel welcome.”

“Food was absolutely delicious. I had the aged ribeye, it was divine, and my wife had the filet. Sides, wine, and bread were great as well. The service, not near as good as the food. From the hostess rudely acknowledging us arriving and departing to the waiter almost pushing us out the door and not bringing our wine with the entrees, the service should have been much better. Not a welcoming experience. The tables are way too close together to the point it’s hard to have a conversation without raising your voice. Worst part is the overwhelming smell of cigarettes from the casino. Better restaurants are right down the road for the price, namely Thirty Two. Probably wouldn’t come back unless someone gave me a gift card.”
“Absolutely amazing food, amazing service, & amazing drinks. I will say, I was worried we were under dressed for this place being in jeans and a tshirt but the front desk assured me that we were fine. There were people extremely dressed up, some in Sunday best, and some in jeans just like us. So just go as you are. Wonderful place!! I'm already ready to go back! Best dining experience we've ever had! I got the lasagna and my husband got the steak. & honorable mention goes to the strawberry cobbler with cream cheese ice cream. So good!!”
