This place is so much better than the new monkey place. For one it's cheaper. But only in price. The wash I get for $10-15 is just as good or better than other places that charge $15-20 for the same treatment.
But today I found a hidden gem at Rich's car wash: a motorized mat cleaner!! We're just off the coast, right?, so we're going to get sand all over the carpet of our cars. We put in mats to collect that sand so we can take them out and slap them against a pole or try to vacuum all the sand out. But we never get all of it. Then today I found this motorized mat cleaner at the near end of the vacuum lane, near where you exit the car wash. You put your mat upside down and hit start. It washes your mat and dries it too! I may be slow but in my 50 years of life I've never seen this before.
I did find a couple of the car bays had very little suction for the vacuum but found others that had full suction and moved over there. The spinning brushes are also so powerful they moved my mirrors so check them before you leave. I'd rather they be too hard than too soft though.

Standard carwash. Added feature was bug station. You can clean the bugs off your car before you enter the carwash tunnel. Detailing area was clean and vacuums were working very well.

The last three times that I came to this car wash, the suction either didn’t work on the vacuum or the handle was broken. Today, the suction was fine and the handle on the vacuum was working, but the inside of the vacuum handle needed to be cleaned out because it stained my carpet with all of the black that was on the inside edges as I vacuumed. Apparently they are providing Fabuloso for people to use, and that stuff caused me to have an asthma attack almost immediately just smelling it wafting from the person next to me. Cheap-gas-station-bathroom, caustic-smelling stuff.

I loved this car wash. It was five dollars to put your car through the car wash and then free vacuuming. And I stayed there for an hour drying my car.

Great wash service. Minus 1 star because I always have to hand dry a lot of my truck. But they offer free towels to use to do this.
