I was really worried about leaving my boys with anyone else for an entire week and they had never been to a kennel before but I called to check on them and they were doing fine. The people I saw and spoke to on the phone were all very kind and professional. My boys were excited to see me when I got back but they really seemed to like the person who was caring for them that day as well. I will definitely be using them again.

Such a wonderful place to take my pup. Lots of room to exercise, clean kennels, and the staff really loves animals. VERY reasonably priced too. 10/10 recommend.

I boarded my dog for a weekend and it was the hardest thing to do but the staff at Oakmere Kennels was really nice and understanding. They let me call in to check on my dog during buisness hours. They take your dogs separately from the rest so that is great if youd rather not have your dogs around other dogs. Overall experience was good and the price was fair!

I took my cat for the very first time and left her for 6 days. She was immediately put in a kennel with very limited space to move around. Once I got her home she could not hardly cry or talk to me because her voice was so hoarse from what appears to most likely be from crying so much from being stuck inside the kennel the entire time she was there.

Always the best place to leave my fur babies. Anytime I have to take a business trip, I’m able to take my cats and my pitbull. They are very loving and the by far the best price on the Coast. I always tell people about this place and it’s probably why it’s hard to get availability and room for my babies when I need it lol.Try to book them several weeks in advance or you will have to find another place. I have a great backup too ? but Oakmere is first choice.

We went on a trip for one week and trusted our 4 dogs would be well taken care of since we had used them previously. We were WRONG. Our dogs were neglected. Our two Pomeranians had days worth of p*** dried to their backside. It was so bad one lost hair in the area and his skin was weeping, he is still healing almost a week later. The dogs were never given their beds (they still smelled like detergent from home with zero fur on the beds) and one of the other dogs was never given his medicine. We also had an unopened bag of treats they were never given. Their paws smelled like p*** and they were severely dehydrated. White tongues and they drank an entire bowl of water the second they got home. When we voiced our concerns to the owner, we were screamed at and hung up on. A week later and one of our dogs developed pancreatitis which the vet believes may have been caused by severe stress and less than poor living conditions while borded. I would never recommend this place. My heart hurts for the absolute fear and neglect they caused my dogs. Shaking and severe shedding. A truly despicable place. Mind you, the photos are after one of the caretakers used about 10 baby wipes to clean his backside.

This is our first time boarding our cat and only 3rd time boarding our dog and we'd never been here before. The grounds were beautiful, the kennels were clean, and the staff was professional, yet friendly & engaging. We will do this again when we travel!

We took our Cane Corso mastiff there a little over a year ago and the day we picked him up we had to take him to the emergency vet. He was dehydrated and his stomach had flipped. Long story short we had to put the dog to sleep. Fast forward to this past week we took our 12 year old mix and our 7 month old Rottweiler to them for the whole week. Picked the dogs up and our Rottweiler was dehydrated and had a severe UTI. I’ve called and left several messages and no one will return my calls because I want to see when they fed and watered them. Second time of us leaving our fur babies in their care and it’s the second time we’ve had to take them to the emergency vet when we pick them up! Will NEVER use Oakmere Kennels again!!
