It started going downhill the day Mr. David Web was no longer there to supervise. He made sure that it was always busy and exciting to visit, shop, browse or just go for any reason. After he left it went from vibrant, busy and exciting to dead and a dry place and now zombie apocalypse eveyday from open to close!!

Hit commissary. Actually excellent competitive prices on meat/chicken. And most foods, but what sux is sometime they're sold out of items. I love one stop shop...at times I find dual shop as connoisseury...

Was just at the exchange over the weekend. Good grief, the prices are ridiculous. I understand that there is a serious inflation in present day economics. But it's ridiculous. I understand the exchange sells name brand products. However, it was unreal to see the outrageous costs. I visited the firearms counter, the selection was horrible to say the least. Additionally a "exchange rule" has been implemented [despite federal laws]. That long guns can no longer be sold to anyone from out of state. What a loss of revenue. Not to mention such a poor choice of inventory. No quality sporting/hunting rifles at all. Very few shotguns. In an area with so much hunting availability. The food court offers two choices... everything else is gone. Military memorabilia... all Air Force. Granted it's an Air Force Base, however there are other branches assigned to the base, not to mention the number of retirees that live in the area and visit. So they come on base to amongst other things... shop at exchange. The base exchange has always been a major benefit. But with high prices, odd inventory or lack of, strange rules, it's a wonder why it's having a difficult time keeping the doors open. When the question is how does the military improve retention?
