“This place is so much better than the new monkey place. For one it's cheaper. But only in price. The wash I get for $10-15 is just as good or better than other places that charge $15-20 for the same treatment.

But today I found a hidden gem at Rich's car wash: a motorized mat cleaner!! We're just off the coast, right?, so we're going to get sand all over the carpet of our cars. We put in mats to collect that sand so we can take them out and slap them against a pole or try to vacuum all the sand out. But we never get all of it. Then today I found this motorized mat cleaner at the near end of the vacuum lane, near where you exit the car wash. You put your mat upside down and hit start. It washes your mat and dries it too! I may be slow but in my 50 years of life I've never seen this before.

I did find a couple of the car bays had very little suction for the vacuum but found others that had full suction and moved over there. The spinning brushes are also so powerful they moved my mirrors so check them before you leave. I'd rather they be too hard than too soft though.”
