“I love colorful, uniquely New Orleans art and Tami Curtis fits the bill. I just happened to find her gallery in the back of another store I was visiting and I loved all of her bright, beautiful work. Tami herself is friendly and is happy to tell you about her pieces. She sells originals and prints of her work including such subjects as Louis Armstrong, Pete Fountain, BB King, St. Louis Cathedral and much more. I don't know if I'll ever have enough money to own a Tami Curtis original, but I would love to add one of her gorgeous prints to my collection someday.”

“Comfortable Locale, Mixed Service ExperienceMockingbird Cafe in Bay St. Louis offers a cheerful, local-favorite vibe that captures the essence of a small-town gathering spot. The cafe is generally buzzing with a friendly atmosphere, making it a pleasant spot for a casual meal.On the food front, the dishes are commendable. The biscuit with gravy and chicken was hearty and satisfying, the avocado toast topped with a fried egg was prepared well, and the Wonderland salad was fresh and flavorful. Each dish was prepared with care and contributed to a very good dining experience. However, I found the service setup less than ideal for my preferences, especially during the weekend. The need to order at the counter, which had a lengthy 25-minute line, detracted from the relaxed weekend breakfast experience I was looking forward to. During weekdays, the requirement to order via web or phone also detracts from the traditional dining experience where one can disconnect from the devices for an hour and can order directly from a human being.Overall, Mockingbird Cafe is a charming spot worth visiting for its quality food and warm ambiance, though be prepared for a less conventional service method that may not appeal to everyone.”

“My mom hired Denise to paint our wedding as her gift to us and WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I simply do not have the words to describe exactly how special it was. This is not just a painting of a wedding scene. She captures the essence, the feeling, the ENERGY of the entire evening. I have literally no idea how she is able to do this but it's truly incredible. We opted not to have a videographer and that turned out to be just fine, as this painting somehow has more movement and life to it than a video ever could. And this wasn't just special for us as the couple getting married... So many of our guests stopped by her workspace and were so delighted to find themselves in the painting! Countless guests have asked if they could get a print of it, to which Denise was more than willing to give us a digitized copy to make into our thank you cards or give a link for guests to purchase prints. She has been SO easy to work with, and she's just a downright sweet person! :)I'm really struggling to find a way to accurately explain how grateful I am to Denise. This painting is my single most prized possession. If you are reading this and feeling on the fence about if a live wedding painter is really worth it, let this be a sign to go for it.THANK YOU!!!!!”

“Lovely store filled with very pretty, different, and tasty items. And the staff was great (very friendly, informative, and helpful). We'll definitely be back to see what new treasures they have.”
