I bought a getrag 360 for a 1990 dodge ram w350 from them. Complete garbage. Its a struggle to get in every gear. The transmission fights you the whole way. Then had to call to remind them of returning core charge. NEVER AGAIN

I got a Transfer case for a customer at my shop and it showed up, with a welded shut hole and all of the bolt holes for the 4x4 encoder motor not even having threads in it. Completely unacceptable. Got via autozone and I won’t ever use this company again. Pay the extra 150 bucks to buy from another company at autozone commercial.

Ordered a NV 4500 5 speed through a local supplier. Good timely delivery. That was the end of anything good.Installed in a 99 dodge 3500 2WD V-10.The owner is a Vietnam Veteran, Purple Heart receiptant and now a cancer survivor. We finished his tranny job a few days before he was dianosed with cancer. He spent nearly a year in the hospital and treatments mostly flat on his back.13 months after we did the job the transmission has a catastropic failure 180 miles from his home at 60 miles per hour. Locked up completely. The transmission had 2932 miles on it and had pulled nothing in the 13 months since installed.I contacted the local supplier from whom we bought the NV 4500, They contacted Randy's Ring & Pinion and where told it was out of the 1 year warranty, so too bad. When this was relaid to me I requested the contact informationWhich led me to a guy named Chris in Everett, Washingtonwho told me in no uncertain terms they would not do anything to help "Our" their's and mine, customer.I then contacted Josh Linnell at Zumbrota in Minn. wanted me to ship the tranny back to them and pay frieght both ways I am sure, Then want me to pay labor to fix a transmission with 2932 miles on it.I sent photo's and requested some help to make this right with the customer. No help. I took the transmission to a local shop Pioneer Transmissions in Hermiston, Oregon, who found the wrong snap rings on the out shaft, bearings damaged, shift rail covers laying in the bottom of the case, broken gear. $1,550 bucks later transmission reinstalled.I would not buy anything from these people.Under "ANY CONDITIONS"Pure & simple they are crooks and do not support very people who grant them the right to be crooks

January 19th of this year, on a recommendation of my local Winchester Va off road garage I had them install a Zumbrota trans w/extra 3yr unlimited miles warranty along with Centerforce clutch and throw-out bearing. It was firm, smooth and awesome! And yet shortly after the install the trans started to leak; the garage opened a warranty request. Almost 2 months went by before the warranty request was honored AND another trans was shipped (I get it, parts are hard to come by). Just had the garage install the trans yesterday June 30th 2023 - No leak but now it makes a grinding/clatter sound in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th that the garage didn't think it was safe to drive. They even used a auto stethoscope to narrow down the sound location; not an exact science but still a good marker for investigation. Only time it would not make a sound is when the clutch was pressed in; slowly release the clutch and the grinding/clatter matched the pressure release of the clutch. And yes, during the install they did inspect the clutch and throw-out bearing; all looked good. I understand that the issue could stem from the actual install or from the manual trans shifter but it doesn't appear likely ... Hope the 2nd warranty request goes a lot smoother / faster then the 1st one. Perhaps the 3rd Zumbrota trans is the charm.

I needed an axle. I told them what I needed, and said the core would be damaged. They said no problem, I'd just have to pay the $1000 core charge. So I worked on acquiring funds.Made the phone call to order, and a different guy said. "No absolutely not. We will not sell one to you with out a usable core. That's just not the way it works. We will not sell you an axle outright ".......I'd say don't waste your time with this company. Can't rely or count on anyone these days.
