Unfortunately one of the worse campgrounds we have camped. The grounds are not well kept, the hiking and biking trails are basically impassable (trees down, grass pass knees, brush overgrown), tubes for tubing down river in poor shape, neighboring camper had to run generator cause power was not working well. All this and the nightly fee was high without any full hook-up. This campground has potential but investments are needed.

Good campground for the amount of sites. Bathrooms not clean and need a big remodel job! Nice hiking trails and fun little beaches. WiFi only available at the main building.

We camp a lot all over the state as retirees, Our experience- Premium sites for 71.00 a night were overlooking the river which was very nice! Pool was nice! All of the shower houses and bathrooms were disgusting to the point we used the unpumped porta potties and wouldn’t use the shower facilities!!! The day we arrived on a Tuesday I brought it to the attention of the owner and he said the cleaning staff didn’t come in to clean on Monday because of the long weekend, but would for sure clean “this afternoon” as of this afternoon, Wednesday none of the bathrooms have been tended to, not even the main bathroom in the office/ clubhouse!! Lastly, and I understand Mother Nature, however there are dozens of dead trees over the campsites. was hoping to make this a yearly destination, however what I’ve experienced personally and with talking with neighbors and how this place has deteriorated sine the “boys” took over, I will not be back!
Toilets: All I can say is nasty??

Toilets: Nice campground. But portapotties need daily cleaning since there is only 1 for a larger area. They were disgusting. Not once were they touched in the 3 days we were there. Public bathrooms also need update below hill. Paint is peeling and womens bathroom was missing a door on a stall. I get theres alot of area to cover but at leaat hire someone to come twice a day to do all bathrooms.

Staff is very nice and helpful. The amenities are outdated and cleanliness of main building and play area leave a lot to be desired. I expected a much cleaner and appealing facility for the money.

Have been coming here for years! An adorable campground right on the river for tubing. Big cozy sites with hookup. Very kid friendly with a park, pool, game room, rock wall, skate park, and even a paint your own ceramics area. They offer a little store that has merch, necessities, ice, ice-cream and ticket trade from the game room for goodies. At night they offer fun such as bingo and bands with a dance floor. Staff is AMAZING!!!!!!??
Toilets: Outhouse by camping spread throughout, shower room near campsite as well as up in lodge.

used to love this place. My wife and i went here every year for a week for our anniversary. The prices sky rocketed over the past 3 years with no updates to there amenities since i was a kid about 20 years ago. unfortunately because of there pricing and no updating we will not be returning unless the prices drop dramatically. when we started going here it was about $200 for the week it is now $425. as much as i hate to say it and as much fun and all the good times i have had here over my life. i most likely will not be returning and finding a more affordable and updated place to stay. i have nothing against the staff they are super friendly and polite, but that doesn't make up for the price. sorry.
