“Great staff. Speak to you clearly and like a normal person. Make sure you understand what they are telling you. We felt prices were very affordable for the level of service we received. (Yeah yeah, money shouldn't be a factor, but it is.)The facility is amazing. First vet I've ever been to that had the dog scale sunken into the floor, so it's not a platform for my dogs to balance on. Seems so trivial, but I thought it was incredible. I'm probably easily amused.”

“I have been using Dr. Keith for a couple of appointments now but he really impressed me during our most recent one. I have an old gelding with Cushing’s disease and some arthritis in his legs and knees. The cold of course does not help things much, the past couple of weeks he’s been incredibly slow in his movements, really stiff, and paying close attention to where he plants his feet. When he walked, he presented signs of soreness and pain which unfortunately can go along with the conditions he has. I asked Dr. Keith to take a look at him along with my other horses, he examined Charlie first and boy was that incredibly relieving for him. You could just see the tension melt away. Charlie became super playful during his adjustment, which is not normal behavior for him. Licking and chewing and several shakes of his head and neck. He walked off at the end of it like nothing was bothering or hurting him. Later that afternoon for his grain, he was still walking pain free and that carried over into the next day as well. Walking with such confidence and some pep in his step. It was a literal transformation and I’m so happy and thankful my boy is feeling better, it was incredible to see!”

“I brought my dog in yesterday to have her ears checked. This was her first time at Barrington Oaks. Ella (my dog) has 1 to 2 ear infections a year. Yesterday I was told allergies could be the cause of her ear infections. Ella is 7 and has always had allergy flare ups. I was handed a list of allergy symptoms and Ella had them all. I was told for the past 7 years to administer an over the counter medication for allergy symptoms. Yesterday I was informed about the allergy medication available for Ella. I decided to go with the monthly shot. One day later she is a different dog! My husband and I are over the moon happy and so is Ella. This medication worked so fast. I am so grateful to the staff for all the knowledge they shared with me, I learned so much. Now my husband can sleep through the night without being woke up by Ella's scratching and licking.”

“I was so grateful we were able to get our bengal cat because someone else had canceled. She had been really sick for 3 days. She was so lethargic I thought she was dying. They were able to diagnose her bladder infection in a timely manner. Prices comparable to our normal vet.Previously in the week we had taken her to an emergency vet. “It’s been years since I have been here, but I came in recently with my chinchilla for a second opinion as her condition was worsening & Dr. Amanda was so kind, caring and helpful during our exam. The CVT and front desk staff were also so kind with us.My chinchilla was drooling, favoring one side while eating and overall looked worrisome, and she wasn’t responding to previous treatments from a different vet, and Dr. Amanda confirmed my worry of dental issues and contacted another vet for me, who she knows has more experience in chinchilla dentals for another exam and for us to make a treatment plan with this other vet depending on what this other vet finds (thank you for being so open and honest).While our third visit with this other specialist didn’t have a good outcome, I’m thankful we were referred to them.I can’t thank Dr. Amanda enough for her empathy, kindness and honesty.”

“This vet saved my kittens leg. I cannot recommend him enough. The staff was very friendly and welcoming and helped put our family at ease. They even let me see her x-ray with the new plate in her leg, which was very interesting. The doctor went over our options thoroughly and explained in great detail what the procedure he was going to perform entailed. He did the surgery for an extremely fair price, and we are very thankful as we would not have been able to afford the same surgery at Blue Pearl. Fizzi is on the mend now, and we are hoping for the best in recovery.”
