E-Gym is very very busy, and there is a long line of people waiting, no matter what day of the week, or what time of the day. This is not working. YMCA Woodbury, MN, needs to buy 11 more machines for a second E-Gym. it is not fair to make people wait in line to use the E-Gym. We are seniors. We have paid the membership fee, and we ask that you set up a second E-Gym.

This is from my experience, as all reviews are, but I think this YMCA is great. The main reason for me going is to lift weights, since that is my main form of working out. I have been lifting for 10 years and really see no reasons why you would need more than what they have, unless you're a beast. The dumbbells go up to 120, two squat racks, deadlift platform, two benches, incline/decline bench, and four moveable benches. Also, plenty of free weights to use for all of those. Every time I have gone, I am able to do my workout, without anyone getting in my way. Plus, the staff and the customers are all pretty friendly. As with most gyms, there are the occasional teenagers being disruptive, but that's to be expected of teenagers. Regarding their cardio equipment, they have plenty and a small track for people to walk on. Also, they have a sauna, hot tub, a pool, and a slide, which is pretty cool. They also have a cool young adult membership discount, which my wife and are a parent of, making it a great value. Plus, partnerships with most health care insurances, which lowers the cost even more! Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a reasonable and affordable gym.

Terrible service. Pool schedule said open swim in leisure pool and swim lessons in lap pool. We show up and a worker informed us the schedule is wrong and both pools have swim lessons. They assured us they asked the calendar to be updated but clearly they were incapable of following up. Due to laziness we now have a crying 2 year old. What a waste of $135.

If I could give this review a -100 I would. The front desk lady had a major attitude (she must have been new because I have never seen her ) and was hyper-focused on me when I walked in. I asked her if they could hold on to my E- gym bracelet which she replied "no" to. She refused to help me with anything and called me "fucking Retard" under her breath at some point. I'm not one to use the race card because I have never been racially profiled in my life and I never thought i would be. I am always a nice and good person I believe the energy you put out in the world is the one you get back, But I'd be a fool to dismiss the fact that I, as a veiled Muslim woman was the only one treated like this. The rest of the staff is always nice and supportive I hate that This happened :(

Very clean but also very noisy. This place prides itself on maintaining equipment and making sure everything is safe. I will say though, working out during basketball times can be stressful as they are very very loud. The personal training and the gym here is excellent though!

Pretty okay time here. There’s a party area for kids. The amenities are not what’s on the list. There is no hot tub. There is a kiddie pool that is semi-heated. The waterslide is open mostly during the evenings but not during the day (but for sure on Friday)There are lifeguards and life vests available, there are no inflatable water toys allowed, although some toys for kids are available in the pool. The kids time is closed before a NOON most days VERY important to know in case you thought bringing your kids and working out at the same time. The mile walk overlooks the pool. Some of the gyms spaces are slightly dimmed and situated in short hallways. The whole gym looks smaller than you’d think with all of the amenities offered.Hint: check out the A library that hangs off the left there’s a nice waterfall for pictures andBonus: there’s plenty of handicap parking available. The parking lot itself is quite spacious compared to most YMCAs.

Good luck talking to someone at that actual branch. I had an emergency and needed to reach an employee there. All the phones are interconnected between YMCA branch’s so when you call the number you don’t always get that branch. There has to be a better way.

I’m rating Summer Power at that Woodbury Leadership Academy. What a horrible summer. My child has been extremely emotional and not wanting to go and every time I go to pick mychild up it looks like all the kids are not happy and staff seems stressed and don’t want to deal with them. There has been other parents that have also expressed dissatisfaction with there program and problems how staff is dealing with their kid. There is a lot of children constantly being written up for things and some kids have autism and the staff there are not definitely NOT quality to handle these kids. Honestly, this is going to be our last summer here. Ohhhh and lets not forget about these ridiculous field trips with no shady areas for kids on extremely hot days or AC on the bus. No wonder why the kids are all miserable. My kid said it’s boring on Mondays and Fridays as they have set schedules to do things and there’s no actual free play.Last year was so much better than this year. I’m so done! We will not be returning and cannot recommend this this to other families. The day camps seem way more organized than Summer Power and the staff are more comfortable dealing with children with disabilities.

My sister and I were trying to take our special needs 6 year old neighbor to a special needs park near the YMCA. When we got there 2 groups of kids from 2 different YMCAs were on a field trip to a park specifically for kids with special needs. We weren’t able to take her since it was so full and they were having snacks that she could potentially be allergic to. I strongly hope they consider taking their field trips to a different park that isn’t made for disabled children.

This is a terrible place to exercise I went this week and it was pandemonium I've never seen a YMCA so disorganized, wild unsupervised kids were on the machines and they were running thru the dressing rooms staring at people opening the all lockers there was a worker claiming and she asked them where their parents were and they ran. NO staff was in sight
