Had a message on 2 of my prescriptions that said I needed to call the pharmacy so I did at about 2:00 this afternoon. I was informed that I just had to call for whatever the reason is and so they would fill the prescriptions. Got an email at 2:53 saying they were ready. Went to the drive thru at 5:30 to pick them up. I could see the pharmacist on the phone and no one else. After a short time a girl saunters up to the phone for my information. She says she’ll go get them. Slowly walks off and I wait…… I see her come back pass the window and disappear. I sit there at least 3-4 more minutes then she appears again and proceeds to start stapling as if she has 50 lb weights on both hands like the casual nonchalant this is my time not yours attitude was enough to make me come unglued. I said “ I could have come in there and filled it myself faster than that!!” And as I’m pulling away she’s trying to snap back that they couldn’t find them. Now tell me how between 2:50 and 5:30 my prescriptions just got up and walked off where no one could find them. What in the actual F. Maybe if she picked up the pace she could have cut the search and rescue a little shorter. On top of that when I opened the bag I only got one of the two that were flagged and got one that wasn’t even a part of the original call. And OF COURSE the one I didn’t get is the one I have already been out of for 2 days. The one I needed more than anything else. What a complete disaster.

I’ve used this store for years and have received great customer service. I can’t believe how this place has changed in the last year. Customer service has been nonexistent, can’t get reliable information from the automated pharmacy and the people working in the pharmacy are not only incompetent but down right rude.
Being a loyal customer for years, I kept giving them opportunities to keep my business but each time the interactions with them kept getting worse. I will no longer be doing business with them.

Called the pharmacy to fill a prescription for my son. Nikki picked up the phone. She picked up the phone and asked how she could be helpful. And asked how she could be helpful as I'm letting her know the situation, she's practically screaming hold on hold on hold on. She needs to log into her computer. Never been yelled at by a pharmacist tech or pharmacist before. Then goes on to let me know what the wait time is. An hour an hour and a half and I'm confirming the time and she tells me she doesn't know the time and it's just going to be an hour and an hour and a half from then. Very frustrated voice. Very unprofessional.

This store advertises prices on the shelf that you will only get if you give them all of your personal information. The person working the counter says that it's not their problem

I have used the pharmacy at this Walgreens since 2021. The service has gotten worse over the years and I have finally switched to a new pharmacy. Pharmacy is severely understaffed, prescriptions are never filled in a timely manner, call wait time has been over 20 minutes the last 2 days and so bad that I cannot get a hold of anyone unless I go there in person. This prompted me to change pharmacies today. I hope this review gets to the manager of the pharmacy and to WalGreens - please do better for your customers and most of all, your staff. I would hate to be on other end as an employee and have to work with angry and frustrated customers all time due to issues that are out of my control.

Walgreens has numerous locations throughout Woodbury, but really should consolidate to just one considering all the stores are under-staffed and can’t meet demand. My husband refuses to get prescriptions filled here, and I’m about to fill elsewhere too, even if it means paying more. No one should have to wait 2 hours for someone to answer the phone, only to find out that your prescriptions are unavailable. I don’t blame the staff—they are overwhelmed and are doing what they can. I blame corporate. I am about to call the attorney general, and for sure the BBB. It’s a mess. If you’re looking to fill prescriptions, Costco all the way.

The pharmacy staff is the worst I've ever seen. They let the line back up in store and let the phone ring off the hook. They couldn't care less about their customers. I also had the pharmacist refuse to refill my prescription after an hour wait in line. He thought he knew better than my doctor and said it was too soon (it wasn't) and wanted me to come back the next day and wait in line another hour.

Dont bother expecting your meds to EVER just be ready when sent over by your doctor. You must either call, and wait on hold for 30-120 minutes, or go to the pharm and TELL them to fill it. It is no longer enough that they get a doctors order to fill a med, they evidently need the customers request as well. You might call the pharmacy and order your med, go there three hours later, or even the next day, and they will tell you there will be a 45-120 minute wait because it is not yet ready. I dont know what part of “ please fill this med” a pharmacy does NOT understand these days!!!!

I had a terrible experience at this pharmacy, and after seeing other similar reviews, I’m shocked by how common this seems to be.
I recently moved to Minnesota and am still waiting to get in with a new doctor. My old doctor was kind enough to call in some refills for me while I wait, I also recently got on Minnesota health care, but they wouldn’t take my insurance and still refused to give me my medication, even after I offered to pay out of pocket!
What’s odd is the first time I came here, a nice gentleman helped me with no issues, and I got my medication.
However, on my next visit, the lady pharmacist I dealt with had a terrible attitude and refused to refill my prescription, even though it had already been called in by my doctor. She wasn’t helpful at all.
For reference, this is a thyroid medication I’ve been on since childhood—I can’t go without it!
I’ll definitely be looking elsewhere for my prescriptions from now on. This kind of treatment is unacceptable. Very disappointing. 😡👎🏻

I have never had to wait longer then 15-20 minutes for a prescription to be filled, and we are on an hour. The service at this location was an epic failure.

Almost always a long line at the drive thru. They take well over 15 min. I was told not to use the automated system even tho it takes longer to get a hold of someone.

The customer service provided by the pharmacy tech was unfortunately unfriendly and rude. Despite my attempts to engage politely, I was met with impatience and even aggressive tones. Such behavior detracted from the overall experience and left me feeling undervalued as a customer. I was not surprised to see other reviews from other customers experiencing similar customer service from the pharmacy.

I can’t believe the phone etiquette the pharmacy Tech has! Unbelievable and she even hung up on me! I called a different pharmacy and had my prescription pulled. I will never do business here. I’ve been waiting 5 hours for an antibiotic and she told me it’ll be another hour because they’re short staffed ?

You can sit at the pharmacy window for 10 minutes without them even acknowledging you. They take forever and won’t have prescriptions ready in time. Really inconvenient.
