Patiently the Vision Works representative collected my new insurance information, made sure the machine put puffs go into my eyes, checked with me to make sure I was finding classes I wanted, checked twice that I was waiting for the dilation to process in my eyes, and processed my insurance information at the end for billing quickly and pleasantly.

In my 13+ years of getting glasses, I've never had an experience quite like this. Everything was fine until the day I came to pick up my glasses. I always look forward to getting new glasses and the clarity it brings. When I put these on, my vision was warped, and I could not see anything. My old glasses were better.I was rushed out and told, "My eyes just need to get used to it." I was told to try wearing them for 2 weeks.I have NEVER been told to wear glasses that strain my eyes, give me headaches after 2 minutes of wearing it, and can't even see out of.They said they can set up another appointment, but after the condensending tones, being rushed, and the prescriptions being so far off to begin with, it would be a waste of time and it makes me uncomfortable

My glasses are less than a year old, my bow broke and I brought them back in to get the bow replaced and I was told to go to Pearl Vision. Reached out to the Customer Service and they informed me someone from the store would get back to me....STILL WAITING.

I have sort of changed my mind. A few months later. The glasses I got were too short for my ears. I didn't realize that was a thing. Nobody pointed that out to me in the store or I would have chosen another pair.Because of that, they fell off and got scratched. They barely fell at all and landed on carpet. These things must be made with the lowest quality materials. Now, I am the kind of person that buys the best extended warranty for everything. If it is offered, I always get it. I'm an easy mark. There is ZERO chance they mentioned that it was an option. I would have (with no question) gotten it for the $29 at the time. I only found out they offer it because when my wife got glasses the DID offer it to her.So I came into the store to ask. They are very nice people but they said I am completely out of luck. I would have to repurchase the glasses with a 25% discount. These glasses don't fit me right. They scratched easily. No way I'm rebuying them. If the salesperson would have offered the warranty I would have gotten it.So yeah. Poor service. Poor quality. It makes sense why these stores are losing so much ground to online retailers. My review was originally positive (based on my interactions with the people here). I was wrong. As far as the practice of optometry, I don't have any complaints. The doctor was good & my prescription was accurate. It was just everything else that was a disappointment. I would suggest going elsewhere.Downgraded from five stars to one. Appropriately.

Very pleased customer at the Woodbury location. Melinda and Kaley were excellent, attentive and personable opticians making me feel comfortable and being patient with my eyeglass selection. Dr. Hackhalter was informative, tooj his time with me, was easy to talk to, and very professional. The eyeglass selections and offered specials were great. Overall satisfied customer and, I would recommend this location to anyone!

Everyone that works in this store is fantastic. Kind, helpful, and really enjoy their job. I have nothing but good things to say. I was kind of a baby with learning how to put in my contacts. They were so sweet and patient the entire time.Sidenote: I am talking about all of the humans. That AI assistant is horrible. Amelia is useless.

Good thing was that I didn't have to wait since I scheduled online ahead of time. I had some concerns though. As the only customer there, I walked through the front door to see all the employees and doctor stare at me with no greeting. I was the first to say hi which already made me feel unwelcomed by the way they looked at me. While in the exam room with Dr. H reviewing my information on his iPad/tablet, he just suddenly turns around on his spinning chair and decides to take my glasses off my face without permission or warning, just making my experience more unpleasant. This is my first uncomfortable experience that I had gone through with Visionworks and probably think that I won't come back to this location after getting my glasses.

Why bother having an appointment schedule? I made an appointment 3 days in advance for 1pm. At 10am, they call asking me to move it to 240. I noted that it would work, but I'd have to be done by 3:20.I show up at 2:40 and am told it will be at least 30 minutes before I would be seen. Not going to work for anyone who needs to keep a schedule. Will not be back.

Great place! I enjoyed the selection they have on glasses, informative staff. Very communicative about there new software change… I work for tech company and let me tell you it’s not an easy thing. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. I enjoyed my first time visit at Visionworks!

I will never go to this visionworks again. I ordered contact lenses from them which took over two months to get in. When they did come in, nobody called to notify me and I did not receive the text messages that they they promised. I had to call the store repeatedly to find out when they arrive. After they did finally arrive and I went to the store to pick them up, the lady made me wait 20 minutes while she took care of four other customers before handing me the box despite my telling here that they were already paid for and nothing needed to be done. The whole experience was a disaster!

I’ve been waiting 4 months for a pair of glasses. I have called many times. No help. They lost the first pair so sent in another but that was a month ago. I’ve emailed I’ve called a bunch I even checked with post office as I was told I would get a call when the glasses arrived to the store but then was told they were on the way being delivered to my home but that was weeks ago. I’ve been billed even tho my insurance should cover it and I haven’t even received the glasses yet. Had to reschedule appointment 3 times beforehand. Waited a hour to see doctor. Staff Arnt friendly except for the one guy but no one’s really helpful as for i can’t see at night at all and it’s the only place I can go that my insurance covers unfortunately.

My girlfriend had an appointment back in November & still has not received her contacts. She has went in multiples times & the staff hasn’t been helpful & they have acted like it’s not their problem. She was also told by an employee that they would check the status of her contacts & then would receive a call.. well that never happened. Everytime we call, we’re on hold for over a half hour & then hung up on. Awful customer service & awful patient care. It’s almost mid January & still no contacts, or answers from anyone. I recommend taking your business elsewhere.

THE WORST PLACE EVER! VisionWorks in Woodbury doesn’t care about customers' time. And with unfriendly staffs making the experience worse. My family has been going VisionWorks in Woodbury for two years due to the closing of the onsite store at work. We had to wait 40min to over an hour every time we saw the doctor. They booked customers with insufficient time for each appointment, resulting in long waiting times. I was in for an eye exam yesterday and again waited over 40 min, then finally gave up! I had another appointment, so I had to leave without seeing the doctor ☹️. When I brought this frustration to one of the staff, he said, it’s a doctor's office, meaning you HAVE TO wait!?I understand that there could be a wait sometimes. However, it shouldn’t be EVERY TIME! It seems like they want full of customers hanging in the office, making them look busy. Nothing is “customer-focus/centric.” Customers are there to serve their needs! My family is switching the eye care center, and I’d recommend you consider that as well. Many places care about patients and customers and try hard to meet their needs.
