They are always friendly and very professional checking and taking care of my three babies. They are very gentle and show their concerns by asking how their hygiene and diet are. These two issues are very important to me from a professional staff member to address.

I felt like we weren't welcomed! We had and appointment at 11:30 and we were there little early and they didn't even look our face properly and said your appointment at 11:30! And didn't even offer to wait in their lobby until our appointment time! I will definitely find new vet for my dog!

We are moving to the area. They won’t establish your dogs as patience without a visit (even if your dogs are up to date on visits and we’re seen a week ago) which is fine but then the charge 200 dollars for it as well. That blows my mind.

Let's say that all the people at the clinic are nice. I had been taking my dogs here for the past 4 years and found this place to be satisfactory. In the past I had a need to bring one of my dogs for ear infection and arranging any appointments with this clinic in timely fashion was impossible. So no this clinic did not get 5 star review from me for the fact that urgency appointments are not important to them. We couldn't have waited for 2 weeks. So I had to find another vet for her. Another issue I had with this clinic is my recent visit with my dogs. In November I had called to find out if any of my dogs needed vaccinations. One was due and brought her in Dec. The other one supposedly was due in Feb. I went there in Feb to find out 180$ later that she wasn't due for any vaccines. I was a little upset. They weighed my dog, listened to her heart and asked what we feed her etc. Then I was informed she wasn't due for vaccines untill next year. I have no need to bring my dogs for yearly check ups. They have no medical conditions that require close eye on them. I do have a problem with people that scheduled this appointment with no need. I feel that in these times when all of us struggle saving any penny we should be more considering and listening to customers needs. I specifically asked for vaccine appointment and not annual appointment. I could have waited till next year. I get it it's a private business trying to function but so do I as a mother of 4. We all have financial responsibilities and urgent needs. This annual appointment was a waste of my money and time.

Dr Jen takes the extra time to discuss current health and potential problems that may arise as my “baby” gets older. Staff is very caring and helpful.

Dr. Urban and her very caring staff provided excellent care to my beloved tomcat for many years. Dr. Urban always took the time to explain the pros and cons of any proposed course of treatment, especially as he got on in years. Dr. Urban's staff is very friendly and always made my tomcat feel welcome and important during his visits. The VCRAH has my highest recommendation.

Used to love bringing my dog to VCRAH. After being turned away from 3 different emergency clinics Sunday night due to lack of space, my last resort was coming in as soon as VCRAH opened at 8am Monday (got there at 7:30). I called Sunday night and left a voicemail, providing a heads up that I would be there at open and requested a call back if that wouldn’t work. Never received a call back.I carried my pup in who couldn’t walk or stand due to the pain he was in, and was promptly turned away saying I needed to go to the emergency clinics which I had already been turned away from the night before, as they “don’t do emergencies” and the soonest they could get us in was 2pm. Completely inflexible and unwilling to squeeze in a quick exam. For my primary care vet, I expect more compassion, care, and assistance in getting care for my dogs. I’ll be finding another vet where we aren’t just a number.

I started going here when my husband and I got our Labrador puppy in November. The initial care was good and I had no complaints whatsoever. This week, we had an emergency with our dog during normal daytime hours. We called Valley Creek Animal Hospital and explained to the vet tech her symptoms and what was going on. The answer I got in return was "yeah sounds like she needs to see someone right away, but we can't sorry". I was incredibly frustrated. You call your vet for help and instead their answer is they can't help you. I truly feel that if they had wanted to, they would have. You should be able to rely on your vet when your pet is in trouble. I called Southview Animal Hospital and they squeezed her into an appointment within 25 minutes of me calling. I will be switching to them for all of her primary care going forward.

We followed Dr. Urban from her previous clinic to VCRAH. She understands the bonds we have with our animals and has helped us care for two dogs and helped us to know when it was time to have them put to sleep to end their suffering. She understands the grief we go through with our animals and shares in the love of all animals. Her expertise is top notch, and she has always provided our dogs with thorough care and kindness. We have relied on her for the better part of two decades. Dr. Abby is also wonderful. Couldn't recommend VCRAC more!

Vet care is fine but completely inflexible and run like a the customers time and concerns don't matter. Switched to them during Covid after specifically stating I want to be with my dog during the visit. First visit fine. 2nd visit, not allowed in. 3rd visit told me appointment canceled because I was 12 minutes late (perfectly legitimate reason). Said I was too close to the next appointment. Nobody else in the parking lot and dog just needed a shot and a quick look at a troublesome paw. If you want a clinic to treat you like their time matters and your's doesn't and one that appears to have little concern for animal care and zero flexibility with their customers then this is your place.
