Cleanliness: It was wonderful!

Nails look good, but much shorter than I asked - my nails were over 1/4" long, already almond shaped, and I only wanted a trim to even them. I ended up with a round shape instead of almond/oval. My cuticles hurt for hours and were bloody afterward, and I had to get Neosporin to rub on them. I have not had this experience in other places.
The salon itself was lovely and welcoming. There were a lot of people there who seemed to have a great experience, so I would probably go back but request another technician.

Stylist: Thuy , she is the absolute best, got there about 10-15 mins early i was done in 45 min. Regular gel polish-manicure. She seems when she's doing ur nails that's she's going super fast, but she knows what she's doing , don't be scared . If u book with her , pronounce her name "twee"it looks different but that's how u say it . Don't hesitate! I never give 5 stars because nothing's or no one is perfect , but she is right up there !!!

This was my first and last time at this nail salon. I was greeted by a very friendly gentleman and introduced to Thuy. She never said hello or anything. Thuy rushed on my nails, no conversation or anything. I went in for a fill. I only needed one hand done and she charged me $40 for a fill. She couldn’t do any designs that I asked for, so I just went plain Jane. Terrible customer service and work. The polish was so thick and chunky. I am so upset I wasted my time even coming here. The rest of the staff may not be bad but don’t waste your time going to Thuy. The whole process was rushed and her work clearly showed that. Never go to a nail salon after 5pm or you will be disappointed. Beware

I have been going to Tu nails consistently for maybe 3 to 4 months now and my review is based on my experience during that time. I will not be returning because my nail bed has deteriorated and a nail salon is such a luxury that I feel that should not be the case.
I usually stick to gel polish but some months ago, decided to try acrylics for additional length. I asked the tech for recommendation because she asked me if I wanted dip or acrylic. I asked the difference cs I had never heard about dip, she wasn't be tell me. This was partly due to language barrier which happens in a multicultural society , but I would have expected that she would find a person who could answer my question to that I could make an informed decision, instead she kept urging me to make a decision so I went with what I knew, acrylic.
This is part of a larger pattern of rushing the client. On several occasions, I have been rushed through manicures. Most recently, the nail tech wanted me to pick a color but never gave me even 2 minutes with both my hands, to actually flip to the color options to make a decision but kept asking me to pick a color.
But what has really got me to the point of writing this review is the deterioration of my nail bed. I did not know that acrylic could be so damaging and I did acrylic during my college years and never had this experience. After refilling my acrylic set a few times, I started to suspect my nails were getting brittle because one of my nails broke unprovoked, just 2 weeks into a new fill. When I went back to get it taken care of, I told the nail tech that I wanted the acrylics stripped so that I could see my nail bed and he said I do not need to see my nails, that I should just do a fill. I trusted that this professional was providing me with sound knowledge and went with it. Well a week later, yet another nail broke because my nails were obviously weak. So when I was going in the next time, I zeroed my mind that I was removing the acrylic, no matter how hard anyone tried to convince me otherwise. My nails were so brittle when it came off and despite cutting them, short, I can feel the thinness of the nail bed. It will take months to rebuild them.
My point is that nail techs have a duty of care and I did not experience this here. The primary focus was seemed to get me in and out as fast as possible, without much care of the degree of workmanship or the health of my nails.
The pedicures are pretty good and would recommend that. But when it comes to the nails, keep it basic. Designs are not an area of strength and shaping is inconsistent.

My mom and I always get our nails done here! Sandie did my pedicure last time; and was so sweet! Everyone is always very nice and welcoming! The environment is so relaxing with the zen music they play and real waterfalls flowing in the background. Definitely the nicest nail plan in woodbury! Thank you for always giving us a positive experience, Tu nails!

I took my friend and I here yesterday to get our nails done which was a late mother's day present. Our nails turned out great but when it came to pay I was under the impression that they where $35 each for our full sets yet they were $60 ok my bad for not checking price before hand. Then I was told they didn't take my visa gift card! They made me feel like I was a thief! Then after they they say me struggling with that issue and not having another payment type they demanded a tip. I will not be returning here. I would love a refund!!

I had an excellent pedicure experience. They make use of premium products that provide your skin a renewed appearance. There was not a single smudge after the polish was applied smoothly.

TU is a professional salon with skilled technicians. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing despite the ability to service many clients at once. This is not a zip in for a fast & cheap mani/pedi I did not have an appointment but was able to get in for a gel pedi & dip mani Things I appreciated Friendly environment CLEAN Clear pricing ( so many salons have hidden charges) Gorgeous color choices Attentive technicians Schedule your next nail service at TUTORIN

I paid $140 for this and a pedicure (luxury). I asked for an ALMOND shape full set (that they charge extra for). This is what I got instead. It’s oval overly bubbled looking nails. Pedicure guy was great! I should’ve just left after the pedicure. This was the worst manicure experience I’ve ever had. I don’t even leave negative reviews but for this I will make time for. If you want something quick and easy this is a great place to stop in and go in a rush. Anything over that and you may end up with this. Now it was my own birthday treat to come here and instead of them honoring the bday discount I had to go back and forth to the point of even showing my ID to prove my bday. So I guess that $140 would’ve been more. I NEVER pay this much at my favorite place Victorias and they ALWAYS do an amazing job. I’m so unhappy with this place. Beautiful interior design but quality of service is poor. I will be posting on social media as well.

An unforgettable visit to the nail spa The atmosphere was incredibly welcoming and the nail artist was wonderfully friendly and skilled. The abundance of colors and designs left me eager to return.
