My husband and I have been using Old National Bank for two decades. Back when it was Anchor bank we went there for our business and personal banking needs because we wanted personalized service. We like the idea of supporting a local bank and love the fact a real person answers the phone. We have had great service and would highly recommend this bank!

Recently had a checkbook stollen from my car. When the fraudulent checks came through they were cleared even though my name was clearly forged. When I went to close the account I was told that money was a loss. I had to call the Apple Valley location to confirm that UCC laws should cover my loss if the name was forged. Only after pushing did I get reimbursed. From there we went to Woodbury to reopen a new checking account since we had to close out the old one as fraud checks kept coming. We worked with a banker there. The next day got a call that they miss placed our paper work for the account opening and we had to come back in. From there we noticed the deposit we had to our savings, the amount was written down wrong from the banker so that was then fixed. Two weeks after I realized our new checks have not arrived that I specifically asked for. I called left a VM, to find out they never ordered them. I have had several business waiting for our blank checks to get our electronic transfers set up. Now I have to wait longer. I have had an account with anchor since the opening of the Apple Valley location. This has determined that we will switch banks. Multiple issues or lack of follow through at a few branch locations. It is sad since I prefer to bank local and small.

I opened a checking account here when I was a kid and have had it ever since (15 years later). Recently I had an accidental overdraft from an autodraft setup long ago which was entirely my mistake. However I was never directly notified of the overdraft resulting and a number of fees that had accumulated over time. They may have sent some letters to an old address however they never made it to me. Due to this they did refund about a third of the money which I appreciated. I know the bank is not required to notify someone of an overdraft, but I expected more from a local bank that I have used for 15 years with no prior problems. Essentially, in my experience with Anchor bank versus other banks like TCF you receive none of the advanced technology and convenience that national banks offer, in addition to not receiving any improved customer service or loyalty that might be expected from a local bank.

Just got to the bank @5:28! Went through the drive thru and they were closed and had all the capsules gone! The website says the drive thru closes @5:30! There was still a truck being helped at the first window!
