25 years ago, I attended this school and I still have trauma. It was more like a cult. Shiny Happy People on Amazon Prime brought me back to Mrs. Rodriguez Bible class. Shame on you. The same kind of shame you inflicted on students and their families. You made me fearfull of life and what God would do if I wasn't perfect. I heard later in my life of a former classmate who took her life. I was not surprised. I felt her pain. Many of us rebelled. Some of us moved on easier than others. I hope your institution has changed it's ways, rules and negative outlook on anyone with a different belief other than your own. Heartbreaking.

My daughter just started and we are already in love with this place. As soon as you walk in the door you can feel the presence of God. The staff/teachers are top notch and they really care about the students. Our daughter comes home happy and usually singing a new song about Jesus. We are so thankful a spot opened up!

This school was very welcoming to me when I came here in third grade. I have had a couple of negative encounters in my experience here. I highly recommend coming to this school, because the teachers and staff are great! I appreciate the help this school has given me to get me ready for my future.

We love NLA. Christian education teaching time-tested values in a loving and caring environment. You'll get the opposite at the local public schools. I wouldn't trade my 2 boy's education for anything.

We love sending our 2 children to NLA. Both started when they were in preschool and now are in elementary. The teachers and staff have always been attentive and accommodating to all of our children’s needs. The sense of community is amazing. We can’t imagine being anywhere else at this time in their lives.

I could not imagine our 3 children attending any other school than New Life Academy. 5 years ago we were welcomed with open arms to a school we knew little about other than their desire to provide a solid Christian education and to encourage the students to be more like Jesus. Every person at this school is a sinner but what I have witnessed from the administration, faculty, student body and fellow families is forgiveness and inclusion. As a mother, I often tell my children how fortunate they are to have a school that breaths life and truth into them in this fallen dark world. I have seen firsthand difficulties in my children that are promptly addressed with love and direction towards Godly character. That will not happen in other schools and that is why we continue to support our school in every which way. New Life is a second home to the entire family and anyone who walks through their doors will feel and understand that.

I find it absolutely *childish* and cruel to 1 star a business that you have NOT attended because ***ONE*** mom on Facebook said to. NLA is an amazing school and I’m so excited to send my daughter there in 2 years. My sister currently goes there and has loved it for years. The current nurse is amazing and HIGHLY qualified. We can’t thank her, Mrs. Haukedahl and the rest of the staff enough for saving my sisters life last year. There one side to every story.NLA is amazing, Godly, and filled with amazing workers that protect their students and care for their students completely. ♥️Update to add:If this child is in the nurses office constantly, this sounds like the child may need a personal aid if her medical needs are that intense. This is a school, not a hospital. If your child is too sick to attend school, that is not the schools fault. The mother PERSONALLY said that the staff and highly qualified nurse there are incredible. The whole reason for her post was to state that they need more nurse assistants on hand. According to State Laws, NLA is within the rules. Grow up people.1 staring a business you’ve never been to, and aren’t taking the time to hear both sides is VERY unfair. That’s not something Jesus would do...

Looking for a school that takes education beyond just academics? New Life Academy wants to join families in a partnership. That is an encouraging thing in this current environment to know the school wants to partner with families and church to build up the hearts and minds of Christ followers. Having this relationship for the entire K-12 journey? It's a no brainer!
