Amazing place for teaching your "little tiger" (aged 4-6) the basics of Taekwondo. My 6yo has gotten so much better at the concepts of focus, body control, and respect. Master Trevors is phenomenal with the kids - keeps them so engaged and speaks so well to them. They all seem to love class with him.

This is our first experience with Tae Kwon Do, but not our first experience with an athletic class for kids. This is, hands down, the best athletic class my kids (girl 9 and boy 6) have ever taken. Mr. Yang is one of the kindest and best educators I've ever met. He is clear in instruction, encourages the children to step out of their comfort zone (counting in Korean in front of the class, or demonstrating a new move), and accommodates when the kids aren't quite ready. We joined TKD to help with emotional and behavioral regulation, and to build confidence. We are nearly two months in and we (mom and dad AND the kids) absolutely love it. Other classes we've tried had sub par teachers - they made assumptions of the kids that they already understood the instruction, which often left the kids confused and intimidated. This has never been the case at Master Kim's. Master Kim has an amazing team and an excellent format for introducing interested families to TKD. Absolutely recommend!

My son loves this place, the instructors here are amazing quality teachers, and the fact that the classes can be big on certain days and they still manage to give individual care and focus to the students in need is awesome. My son is 6 and has taken an interest in a second language (Korean) and practices what he learns at home, as well has brought home the manners he's learned at Master Kim's, if you're looking for a place that will give great care, teach self defense and confidence, Master Kim and his instructors are your go-to!

We enrolled our 10 yr old grandson in Master Kim's and couldn't be happier. The instructors are very enthusiastic, very positive with students and take the time to make sure the students are learning proper techniques. They also have a great teacher-student ratio when they break up for smaller group instructions. Master Kim and all instructors are amazing in knowing all the students' names, in giving them lots of positive reinforcement, and making the classes fun yet learning a lot. And during COVID they did an excellent job in distancing of students, of cleaning after every class and taking all precautions necessary. Highly recommend this school!
